Definitely but players don't really develop areas they're so insufficient in.

 

Danny Simpson was as limited going forwards at 21 as he was 31, Winks has never added assists to his game. Iversen will always be bad with his feet etc. Players have their strengths and weaknesses, they tend to improve in the areas they're strongest in.

 

I could be wrong unless it's due to such a small data sample I can't seen Banzuzi ever being a pass master.

Genuinely a bit out of the loop, did anything actually change in the laws post-Watford that'd stop us "buying" him for £5m from OHL only to then "sell" him to Monaco or WHU for the 20 or whatever?

How is it any different from Newcastle being able to sell to Saudi clubs?

If true and we wanted him it’s flabbergasting, Rudkin would have signed this off to Monaco, effectively ruling out his own club from signing him. Quite incredible

They have their own Director of Football who would be dealing with it, not Rudkin

It's the most obvious "sign him now and loan him back to them" I've seen.

 

Surely if his trajectory is only upwards we should be sanctioning this deal as swiftly as possible. Low fee with a hefty sell-on %
