I'd love to see Nige back in some capacity, not managing due to his health but perhaps Director Of Football... replacing a certain you know who. It could work, Nige in the directors box... ooh Richie Wellens in dugout with Andy King and Kevin Phillips in coaching.... this is next season of course. Proper reunion that.

2013/14 for me, I know it was the championship but that season was the ultimate satisfaction after the previous decade and the events of May 2013. That season was basically perfect in every way. What a team.

My first full season was 96/97 so in my formative years I experienced four consecutive top ten Premier League finishes and two cup wins. So promotion was great but I needed to see us established in the top flight again.

No doubt though 2013/14 was fantastic and over the winter that season we were the absolute dog's bollocks. The 4-1 win over Derby was sensational I remember.

Just got to the part where he’s geeing the fans up and head-butted the wall.

Get. Him. Back.

Makes you sick with joy watching that, as opposed to sick with sorrow as to what we have become.

I remember this one which was a few weeks before it was confirmed, just look at that unity.

Him and Kingy at about 50 seconds , get them both in charge of this mess for 2 or 3 seasons even if we go down and stay down we'll be in a much, much better place

Can't believe this was nearly ten years ago. Better times.

April and May 2015 was probably my favourite period supporting the club. Maybe even more so than the title win.

The most thrilling and unexpected run. Crowd fully behind the team and manager. Brilliant two months.

Completely agree. Seems weird to say it, but staying up means everything. That run was amazing.

Thing is that team did that, they created an atmosphere by being together, giving their all, trying to win games! This team just nothing 3-0 down at home Vesterguard just standing nonchalantly still with the ball, disgusting. It’s not surprising than fans don’t back this lot.

The atmosphere in the crowd for that run was almost on a par with the UCL matches. Was a pleasure to be part of.

Mine too. Watching those clips from Burnley has made me quite emotional. What an absolute legend he is. He was so good at identifying not only talented players but those with the right attitude, something totally lacking in nearly all of the current lot.

Hmm. How much of that was down to him? I think Walsh was the man that identified the talent and that it was the threesome of Pearson, Walsh and Shakespeare that made it work. NP was brilliant for us but only because he was one part of a successful team.

****in hell it made me well up. We couldn't be further from all of that now. How the **** have we fallen so hard?

Raises the hairs on the back of your neck.

This to me is the spirit of Leicester City

Nearly 10 years ago but seems a lifetime away from the passionless dross this lot serve up.

We need to bring people back who understand this. Kingy is a good start but get more of the legends back.

I'd have Nige on the board.

It was absolutely electric and those away games at West Brom, Burnley, Sunderland were memorable as well at home to Newcastle and Southampton.

I think we were aware something special was happening.

It was possibly the most exciting period in the last 50 years for me.

I struggled to really enjoy the Premier League win as I knew we'd **** it up and then I'd never recover - the fact we won it still baffles me.

I wasn't in the country for either unfortunately. As I said in a previous post I just really wanted us to survive in the Premier League for a couple of seasons after being away and being bottom of the league for so long was so disappointing, so to turn it around like that was just insane. I still remember every game so clearly, particularly the WBA match.

The following season was great fun at the start, but then started to take on an element of the surreal and became bigger than the club really. I was delighted we'd finally one something more than the league cup, which had always bugged me, but at the end I was perhaps happy it was all over. It was also relatively comfortable, whereas the great escape as you say was incredibly exciting. Nothing like going on a run like that. Like the playoff run in 96.

Horrible. Look at that manager, look at those players. Instead of Wasyl we have Faes, Coady instead of Wes, Winks instead of Kingy, Ayew and Reid instead of Albrighton.

It’s depressing. That group of players was something else - even when we were losing constantly, they never stopped working.

That video led me on to this one to when it was finally confirmed. To add more emotion to it I believe it was taken or at least uploaded by Liam who is no longer with us.

Watching this and then thinking about what we're seeing on the pitch now is absolute chalk and cheese.

I'm full of so much pride watching that lot. At the moment I don't give a shit and any mention of us in conversation is just depressing.

He always used to talk about doing due diligence on the character of signings. I can’t help but feel that we’ve not done that for a while as we’ve got a squad full of spineless arse faced weasel’s (with the exception of one or two).

Would love it if he came back in any capacity.
