After allowing Sheffield Wednesday to protest, reckon they will allow us to protest against them again?

If people think that allowing Wednesday's protest was for any reason other than to distract for our own issues. We don't need them to 'allow' us anyway, just do it. There isn't the hunger though.

And yet the irony, as we clapped them as they took to their seats……. Madness isn’t it.

Absolutely spot on !
Funny how the club doesn’t communicate with us but they can communicate with opposition fans and agree to their proposals as it conveniently turns everyone’s attention away from the shitshow that Dumb and Dumber are leading

few fans of other clubs sending messages on twitter to the official LCFC account all saying the same thing “ RIP Leicester “. Has something happened that I’m not aware of?

is it about the announcer?

My head spun at this. Tannoy saying ‘we are here to support your right to protest’ or similar.
Why then are banners getting pulled off Leicester fans at the gate then.

I was in shock with the pictures I was seeing. Club do their up most to stop any fan created tifos and designs, yet allow away fans to do the same.

Definitely one for the trust to pick up on.

Would've looked worse PR wise if they'd said no to the protest against a very public dispute. Probably half their thinking in all honesty

Boils down to a few things. Likely it was the fact it was Paul Cook’s last game and would he really fancy taking on 3,000 angry Wednesday protestors.

Must admit not familiar with the names, who is Paul Cook?

Head of H&S + Stewarding at LCFC or he was. He's left to do the same role at Twickenham.

A little research told me that Chansiri's family aren't overly public in support of the Thai crown (thinking about that's one area of nonsense that has never occurred at Hillsborough), so King Power probably getting a dig in.

I assume he means madness that we support their protest but won't support our own.

Madness .... when you keep making the same costly mistakes .... time and time again ... remind you of anyone John

Why is that madness?

Because collectively we showed support to them for protesting against their negligent board, and we can’t even do the same collectively against ours?

Any notes from Top in the programme on Sunday? Or is he saving it for after transfer window when he tells us why he’s bought £100m in and we haven’t spent a fee on anyone?

It would seem that way given the lack of any credible links and given we are in desperate need for a striker and didn’t blow QPR out but water to sign Kone.

Interesting couple of weeks ahead

Think if Fatawu goes after BEK it’ll get a lot more vocal and angry quickly. Selling Abdul after the start he’s made this season will finally be the tipping point for a fair few.

Based on Sunday, somehow (answers on a postcard), we have to keep Fatawu, BEK, Winks.  IF they let them go/have to get rid, then their historical stupidity (new 3 year contracts Vesty & Hamza) on top of the financial disasters building over the the previous seasons will be the reason why.  IF they were in any sort of decent financial shape, they could bat all the fud for the players away.  1st Sept can't come fast enough.

Promise you as well, if those 3 go, there is NO contingency in place to replace them immediately LFL, more stupidity and disaster upon disaster.

We will really struggle to get promoted without that quality.

Not defending our owners, BUT they haven't sunk to anywhere near the level of that being endured by the Wednesday fans, staff and players.

I think for me, i knew our financial position was tricky, but I think its maybe becoming clearer that it is worse than I suspected.

I think the sales may be about cash flow as much as we need to clear spaces in the squad. I guess that may be even clearer in about 3 weeks when the window is shut. If we sell Winks, Bilal and maybe others and only bring in some loans and frees I htink that will prove where we are at. Though I think it is already pretty clear.

Marti is very cautious when asked about signings, not saying we will sign anyone, but says Rudkin made the position clear when taking the job.

If the club seems more self sustaining, with some good sellable youth assets it might make us more attractive to a new owner. But its all veru uncertain with a lack of clarity at the minute.

It's a fine balance and atm our financial predicament is alarming, if we don't get promoted I fear for us, unless the club is sold, it needs to be sold asap.

Give it time

We were warned by a Wednesday fan on here not so long ago that they started like this !

The writing is on the wall though.

They’ve managed to **** up from a position that was fairly un****-able…… if you can go from being champions of England, win an FA cup, sell assets for nearly £600m and still end up in a financial mess and manage to get relegated twice, when clubs with inferior resources to your own thrive….. you can drive a club out of existence.

If this board room doesn’t change, we will be Sheffield Wednesday, very soon.

Well, this is a surprise to absolutely nobody. We're absolutely ****ed from a PSR point of view. That's pretty clear. Absolute gross mismanagement over several years
