Just putting this here to come back to in September.

I reckon the commercial director and sporting director wont be with us by the time the League one season kicks off.

I think you’re spot on.

They probably haven't even realised. Such a sad predictable state of affairs.

If this is what it takes to get him gone and his lap dogs then so be it.

What makes you say that? They'll realize what they've done and see sense, or Rudkin will sack them?

The former I imagine. That and the fact neither will be able to use their skillset to any effect at that level with no money available/possible administration transfer bans. The best McCarron could do is implement some good strength and conditioning processes and perhaps hire a new manager (who I think will be Lee Johnson.....)

I imagine the commercial director is already questioning some decisions, for example, why have they brought him in, a seasoned marketer with bags of experience, and handed the senior management of that department to our former local journalist comms director....

Probably very true but as far as I’m concerned, the main culprit, Top, will still be there whilst trying to deflect blame and responsibility.

We are effectively down, and I couldn't give a shit. Part of me is so broken by this club i'm actually happy that relegation will cause massive negative PR for King Power, and will bring them a little bit of suffering, I didn't see the Pompy game, my friend just text me the results because I don't even care enough to check myself right now, I just laughed when he told me.

**** the players apart from about 3 or 4, most of them can get to ****, **** the board, every single one of them, **** king power.

The ONLY people I care about, are the poor sods who will now face redundancy, and the wider community businesses that may end up with much less match day trade.
I've been through many lows watching this club, but this one is just a sucker punch, then spitting on our faces. They have mishandled this club for the best part of 6 years now, infact you could easily look at decisions before Rogers that were poor such as our complete negligence in the transfer market summer after winning the league when we abandoned a clear working blueprint.

It's sad, maybe I'll care more in the summer, right now, I just don't give a toss about this club anymore, it doesn't represent Leicester City, this is a poisoned swamp football club. This is NOT Leicester City.

King Power, you will always have credit for what we achieved under you, but that doesn't give you the right to completely destroy it then gaslight us into pretending it wasn't 1000% your own fault, get the **** out of our club, you've destroyed a legacy.

Absolutely my thoughts entirely! I foresee that the last home game could and should be quite toxic. I hope it’s that toxic that polo boy sells the club very quickly!

This I think people underestimate the impact on the entire city of having a third tier team.

It needs to be incredibly toxic, we need to ruin their day. At this stage let them ban us. *****

Let's hope we still have a team because I can only see liquidation.

We are running a Premier league set up in Division 1

While I don't feel as strongly against Vichai's statue as others, I'd note a few things on recent posts:

- "Khun Vichai" feels uncomfortable to me. I get it's being used as a mark of respect, but with respect we are not Thai and our connection to Vichai was distant at best. (Did anyone on this forum ever have a chat with him?)

- The bit about doing things in the community *is* to be applauded, but it gets overplayed. Clearly effective PR. I wonder if KPs donations to the community continue at present? If not, that could suggest the early donations were simply a way of building a positive profile for previously unknown (and untrusted) owners rather than making a *sustained* commitment to our community. If the donations have continued, fair do's

- We have no other statues outside the ground, not even to Vardy

- Do any other clubs have statues of their owners, let alone in the most prominent location?

- My recollection is that the purging of pre-KP history from our ground moved at pace under *Vichai*, to the point where there is next to nothing left

On reflection I see no reason to remove the statue altogether, but I do see why others find it uncomfortable. Despite the vibe, our ground is NOT a mausoleum; ownership is transient. It's the kind of thing that supporter's groups could consult on in the future: should it be moved?

That 5'3 prat - the most odds defying decline in a generation locked in.

Pure disrespect to Mike Ashley to even compare the two. The most incompetent owner of my lifetime.

Why do people keep mentioning Little Lee.

God it's triggering my PTSD.

Mccarron seems a big fan, Lee has had his PR doing the rounds in the English press lauding the job he’s done over there. League One would be an achievable re-entry point for him.

But yeah it would be ****ing horrific and I’d want to die lol

Plenty called that out at the time as being weird as ****, but of course we were just shouted down.

Yeah this attempt at rewriting history is getting very odd Sol tbh.

Does absolutely nothing for the cause either. There’s enough evidence Aiwayatt is an unfit leader without having to track back 10 years and starting to pin Vichai for it for holding onto a trophy a bit longer than some people felt comfortable with.

You’ve questioned my motives before, and seem to have an issue with me for some reason, i deal in pragmatism and realism primarily. The sarcasm and the put downs I aim at people are often ways of shutting down a lack of pragmatism and realism.

I won’t agree with some of the negative comments about him, I do however respect alternative opinions.

That said the past is merely something you learn from in life, mainly not to repeat mistakes. Vichai has been dead for the best part of 10 years, he’s not the problem. In our position the present and the future are far more important.

You, as a poster, are someone I respect that’s why I address you in the manner I do whenever I converse with you, as opposed to they way I address other people I do not which I’m sure you’ve witnessed over the years.

I am getting very concerned a lot of people have moved on from trying to do things to save the club and instead are happy to sit back now and make the most of saying I told you so and are trying to force a false narrative that things were rotten from the core all along.

And as I’ve admitted attempting to moblise our fan base was frustrating and I struggle with king power apologists as much as you you do. However this narrative being pushed feels very much like, reflective arrogance than anything productive.

Lastly, and I will be a bit of twat here,  posts like this can be debunked completely, you’ve been on here for a long time, I’m a professional data analyst and I am more than capable of using this sites filtering features to prove you have been more than pro King Power at parts in the last 10 years, i don’t need to search I remember them, I have used that to point out complete hypocrisy to a few posters before and I’m willing to do it again if this holier than thou act is kept up.

If you are genuinely trying to suggest  anyone should think you or any one else are some kind of genius because of that trophy incident we can go through some of your posts from 2016-2020 and show that’s really not the case.

I hate this rhetoric, we didnt win the premier league because of him at all, it wasn’t sheikh mansour levels of investment into that squad. It was down to the foundations laid by Pearson, Shakespeare and Steve Walsh snr

We were spending the most in the Championship by a mile to give Pearson the team he wanted. Lets not try and rewrite history and pretend Vichai didnt do his bit. Plus all the money he gave to Leicester hospitals. He was a good man for the city as a whole. Just unfortunatley his son is a clown and destroying the King Power legacy.

Not seen anybody say we only won it because of him, but like it or not, we wouldn't have won it without him. As we wouldn't with Pearson and co. Just as we wouldn't have been in this mess without Top.
