plinchiestincture Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Hunstanton is nice at this time of year and you can get good elevation on the ball. 2

You could be losing money on a player and still have to pay a sell-on. I don't believe anyone is that daft. Obviously now there will be the tedious Rudkin comments. What’s worrying is that this deal was a very late rush to complete… rudkin very well could have dropped our pants to get it done Edited 17 January by Lambert09 1

Cannon clearly has some qualities but has hardly pulled up trees here or on loan. £13m seems like a good bit of business. Need to do the same with the likes of Hamza, Faes, Thomas, Daka etc now and in the summer. A few million profit on each all helps with PSR (or whatever it's being replaced with). This all day long. Far too many fans aren't happy with us selling anyone who they feel hasn't peaked and could improve. The same ones having kittens about selling Choudhury, George Hurst and thought there was still a player in Praet because of that pass against Brentford. Cannon has potential and can claim to have been harshly treated but if he can't get in the side after 18 months and you get a chance to make a profit on him then take it and don't look back. 13
FoxFossil Posted 17 January Posted 17 January With Ruuds plan B of 442, wonder if Cannon and Vardy together would give us something different? 4
CloudFox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Shame it hasn't worked out, but we should be snapping their hand off at that price, based on what he's done so far this season. Reinvest in the defence, please.
Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 17 January Popular Post Posted 17 January Can well see him being one of those strikers that by mid to late twenties has honed his craft in to being a decent striker at the highest level. We've seen it with Chris Wood and Andrei Kramaric, were we wrong in getting rid and the gap between then and when they became good enough. As a club we've struck gold with the best striker any club of our size has seen in the last 30+ years but at the same time we've been utterly horrendous at any competition or replacements of Jamie Vardy. Time will tell on this but I'm pleasantly surprised we've got £13m for him. 5

For me you have to have at least one of Technically ability, Pace or Physicality to be a decent striker at the highest level. Edited 18 January by coolhandfox 5

supernuk Posted 18 January Posted 18 January Keep! We need him to gain a little bit of confidence in the prem and more importantly next year in the Championship. 1
Dahnsouff Posted 18 January Posted 18 January Maybe if we get promoted after being relegated we can sign experienced Premier league striker Tom Cannon on loan. 1 2
UniFox21 Posted 18 January Posted 18 January Plays best in a 2, we're basically playing with a 2 up top, so may as well give him a go
coolhandfox Posted 18 January Posted 18 January Sell drain the whole swamp. Only players I would keep is Hermansen, El Khannouss and Fatawu. 1 2
