Unlikely I reckon. 
 

The club might want him gone, but:

1) who’d have him? ie who needs him and can afford him. 
2) does he want to go? I mean maybe he’d like to get some games in to get himself in the shop window before his contract is up… but that brings us back to point 1 - who wants/needs him as their #1 (why go on loan if you’re just going to warm someone else’s bench). 
 

I don’t see Ward leaving before the summer.

He’s been useful but never good enough, and like Faes and Hamza stuck with them for another 2 seasons, just to much dead wood in the squad .

Did ok in the championship and his skill set is peculiar with his exceptional passing, but his lack of agility will never let him reach the highest levels.

As for 2027 we need to sign up Jakub and Nelson. Try and sell the rest in the summer to get something for them

Faes is also out of contract in 2027. At the end of this season we will have no recognised first-team striker, but we will still be carrying way too many overpaid defenders. We simply must sign James at the end of the season and sort out Nelson's contract. I highly doubt that we will be able to move many players on as we simply pay them more than they are worth.

If the unthinkable relegation happens he’d be a good player to have around at that level.

Daka and Ayew are hardly lighting up the league, but they’re our only first team strikers and both leaving in June. We’ve terminated the loan of another one who was crap. So we’re relying on 2 players who know they won’t be here next season to score goals, and who are crap.
 

Again, what competent DoF in charge of overseeing squad building lets it get to that position? 

But of course we are limited by the PSR position that has been imposed upon us, and something we’ve had no control over 🤣

We do have quite a lot of control over PSR in that we threw massive contracts at players.

 

A striker on loan in my view is worth whatever increment in expense as even if we breach PSR this year we can point to all the outs as us doing our best to limit spending.  We have signed a player for a fee this year - that is pretty incredible.
 

while any future breach is more black and white, the points deduction will reflect the manner of the breach.  
 

based on what we’ve done this year any points deduction should be small

Because we can’t afford to lose an academy player who we could sell for pure profit on a fee. He shouldn’t be our number 1 but losing him for nothing would be stupid

21 players total, including 8 youth players, no striker, midfield very weak. And we'll also likely have to sell Fatawu. Oh and I guess I forget Jake Evans.

As much as we all love Jordan James for what he's done for us so far this season, I don't think there's a cat in hell's chance he signs on for us 😔 we're all hoping that someone competent at LCFC has negotiated the clauses to just make it a formality at the end of the season but this is Rudkin we are talking about here.

Sell him in the summer. If we have any aspirations he shouldn't be between the sticks.

An opportunity for what? Reducing the wage bill, sure. But I think it depends entirely on how much money we can / are allowed to, for a rebuild. 

 

We'll need a ton of players - I don't trust our recruitment to find value and we could just simply buy into the next tranche of overpaid, average players. Also there's a chance that the club takes the easy/cheap option and re-signs some of those out of contract players too.
