Looks completely shit tbh. All for getting behind him, but we need a solid defender to come in and limit the amount of goals down the right. His stats show he is not that guy.

Seen him play a couple of times when they show Serie A on TNT, he’s actually decent to be fair, a lot better than that one highlights video makes him out to belol

An interesting one this is. Certainly not obvious quality that we badly need to improve the starting XI, nor is he an age where you could hope for huge gains and improvements in the coming years.

That said, maybe we need a few maverick signings instead, those unfathomable ones that just work from the off.

His stats look concerning in relation to how easy it appears he's dribbled past, Justin has been exposed a lot this season and I was hoping for a defender that is positionally excellent and hard to unlock. The comments from the Parma fan suggest he's erratic but hopefully it doesn't lead to many errors.

Signing that reflects where we are. We are going to have to get the decks in order a bit.

Woooooah-yo.

Serie A is definitely the type of thing we should be aspiring towards!

Saying that Okoli was playing in Serie A and well...erm.

But it's definitely one of the more exciting leagues and a market worth exploring!

Has anywhere said what the fee is? With him out of contract in the summer and him struggling to get in Parma's side it surely can't be over £5mil - if even that. It seems very much cheap option.

With how we play under Ruud (RB basically playing as winger very high up the pitch), this may work.

Starting eleven: 12, Substituted in: 2, On the bench: 3, Suspended: 1, Injured: 1, Absence: 0

Wouldn't say he's struggling. 3 for suspension and 1 for flu from a possible 19.

Seems a really weak tackler

1st percentile for dribblers tackled is crap

Those defensive stats.....wow. And not the good kind of wow.

So few different highlight clips here, never seen him play before so solely going off the highlights… the lad has physical attributes in abundance, his burst of acceleration appears unreal, he’s got great ability to drive upfield with the ball and he’s often looking for the overlap exploiting space. I noticed as well he appears quite calm with the ball at the back which is needed after what we’ve seen from JJ.

downside is he appears to have zero quality in the final third and doesn’t appear to look like the fighting type of player. Positionally, he often looks out of place too so is going to need someone like Coady alongside him constantly in his ear.

pro’s and con’s which is expected for the money we have available, the one thing I will say is his downside appears similar to JJ’s but he appears to also offer more than JJ so time will tell.

ANYONE is better than James Justin stinking up the gaff.

I think many people may be surprised that JJ is better than his form would suggest - and possibly far better than a replacement..

He isn't a Danny Ward national league level clown. JJ is, at worst, a very decent championship player lacking confidence and playing in a poor PL side.

Better video

Gives me strong "Amartey winning that penalty" vibes in that.
