Yeah,well I don’t trust Jordan Blackwell.😩

I always thought he kept away from the click bait stuff that local papers have moved towards in recent years.

Anyway, others reported this as a similar fee so whilst none of us actually know it seems we massively overpaid for him.

I think he was highly rated coming through and playing Italy under 21s. Just hasn't kicked on or developed, certainly not in a way to play at the pace the game is played in England.

He is currently our top scorer this season though... just need a couple more decent games and some of the interested sides to pick up an injury or two and we might be in business.

At this point it’s not about the pace of the game, his ability is shocking. He just can’t pass the ball without it being a bomb scare to his team mates.

He misplaces passes under zero pressure and they end up at the feet of the opposition while our players is a few metres away having to then track back to cover.

We are stuck with dross like Skipp, Mav, Hamza, Reid and Okoli. All it takes is a scout with eyes to realise any price isn’t worth it.

Romano reported it as €15m at the time

I thought it was €8m increasing to €13m

and given our horrid decline it’s safe to say the only extras that we would have to pay would be appearance linked. So I think his book value is closer to €5.5m

Should have f’*cked him off ages ago and given Kevon Gray the whole of preseason.

Really bugs me Gray barely got anything, and we might now need him.

We have to sell him regardless, because he can't play in RMs tactics.

Who wants to watch this clown attempt 200 passes or touches every week.

I don't think he is viewed as being ready, and is unlikely to be the solution we turn to, we are more likely to play someone out of position for one game whilst the situation is sorted.

We will bring in a number of CB before the close of the window dependant on who we sell.

Souttar and Okoli will play this Saturday, Souttar will be sold next week and a CB will arrive on loan and another on a perm.

Okoli situation will rumble on to the end of the window.

I think people are being a bit harsh on him, He was ok yesterday it was Duffer that was causing the problems trying to do what he cant and getting out of position too often.

He was the better one of the two CB’s yesterday.

Was it just me who hated his shenanigans when he laughed in their CF’s face in the second half?

Screams of misplaced arrogance to me.

With you on both points.

As soon as he laughed at their lad I thought “you are absolutely not good enough to be arrogant, this’ll bite us”.

Apart from the amount of mistimed passes going forward?

With regards to the "shenanigans" – I thought the Notts attacker did something to Okoli first. But then again, I could be mistaken.

Yeh that was embarrassing behaviour, particularly as the lad didn’t interact with him at all. You knew at that point we would concede a goal.

BTW How have the two centre backs from last season, LEAST capable of playing out from the back now playing the most extreme level of playing out from the back you will ever see. Along with a new keeper who has distribution skills every bit as poor as Beggo’s from last year? wtf

He isn’t playing any different to how he has played since the Arsenal away under Cooper.

We don’t have great coaches as no one has really improved, but his passing ability is the same as my nans.

I genuinely think he has bad eye sight.  The amount of passes that end up at the feet of an unmarked opposition midfielder shouldn’t happen.
