Far better than Mavididi.

Never thought I would say this but the team is far more balanced with him in it than Facundo who just runs down blind alleys with no football positioning intelligence.

Define ‘balanced’?

Ayew is an attacker with no attacking threat. I can’t even have the idea of him starting matches on my mind.

Buonanotte had a poor game tonight but he’s regularly far, far better than Ayew and our better performances are with him in the team. Even tonight, we looked balanced and threatening, we just kept giving the ball away and there were several culprits.

the hate on Ayew is so forced

It's not really is it? He's scored some important goals but he has to be the most negative attacking player I've ever seen. First instinct is to always turn back

It was the same against Brighton with his laces, must've tied them at least 5x that day.

I counted 4 lace ties in his 20min cameo today. Palace players tried to drag him off to celebrate with their fans at the end but he slinked away.

Looks like he belongs in pipe and slippers, with a face of absolute misery. Plays like it too. Useless willy puller has scored about 30 goals in his career and has the absolute front to call himself a striker.

it is. A thread starting on him after a game that he didn't start in.

He did smile and salute the palace fans  after he’d hung around chatting with his Palace mates, turning to the away end and patting his heart as they acknowledged him, seemingly forgetting that he was wearing a Leicester shirt😂Not sure whether that was his highlight, or whether it was the ongoing gripping duel with his shoelace foe or his epic lengthy free kick procedure that took 3 minutes and resulted in a gentle kick to their keeper. A truly memorable cameo appearance today.

It was always going to happen. He spent 6 years there and was a cult hero there, nothing wrong with that for me.

Scored 3 goals for them, was always going to be a cult hero there.

Tapping his badge to the palace fans at the end? **** off.

Really? After full time? (Because I was long gone by then).

Or fall over

He’s an impact sub, no more , no less, nothing more, who we learned today can take a great corner.

If RVN gets that we will have made a good start.

Impact sub?

Don't you mean just 'sub'?

To an extent I get you but patting his Leicester badge and waving to them in front of Leicester fans after the team performance and his less than effective cameo that was mainly remembered for his shoelace battle, isn’t ideal.

Yep, funnily enough I don’t think he got the irony, but he stood there tapping his chest after the game. ****ing useless willy puller.

I think it was more tapping his heart. Maddison did the same thing to us wearing a spurs shirt.

Bit different for Maddison as he was the away player but personally don’t think a badge tap to your old fans is the best thing to do when you are tapping the badge of your new clubs shirt. Particularly when your’re at home, your new team has lost a vital game and you’ve spent most of your time on the pitch doing up your shoelaces.

That's why Facundo has the ability to go past two or three players at once with ease.

His runs both on and off of the ball are unpredictable.

He is exactly the type of player you want in your side. He gets fans on their feet and makes things happen.

Players like Ayew, BDCR and Kasey are too similar! They are all predictable.  Their first thought is to pass the ball backwards aswell.
