Think it goes without saying we need a massive shake up from the current crop - it isn't ideal nobody seems to know what the situation with the manager is either :S

Looking at some of the free agents

Nathan Ferguson has just been released from Palace, if we can get him fit he can play anywhere across the back line.

Kyle Walker-Peters was linked in January and hasn't signed a new deal with Southampton

Neal Maupay was talked about before and I know some were dead against, but can we be that picky given our current forwards consist of Daka and Ayew?

PSR stuff aside if we had money I would be looking at Hayden Hackney from Boro or Jack Rudoni from Cov as an option in midfield, Rudoni scored 10 goals and got 12 assists so not bad numbers and Hackney has featured for Englands u21s a fair bit.

Josh Sargent might be a bridge too far but I have always rated him at Championship level. As a curve ball, would anyone go for Paul Mullin? Unhappy at Wrexham, they have just signed Ryan Hardie and I think he would be the type of player Leicester fans could warm to.

KWP would be a really good signing if we were to offload Justin and Ricardo for some extra dough.

goes without saying **** VK off and start Thomas instead.

Is KWP even any better than JJ? I doubt it. Another who’d be on wages far above his ability (being a free transfer) and would not be good enough if we make it back up. Pass.

I guess its the market now though isn't it, considering we have Soumare as one of our highest paid players speaks volumes!

It’s not the market, and the Soumare example doesn’t prove it is. It is us. We chuck expensive contracts at anyone. Other clubs performing above where you’d expect them to are paying much more modest wages.

If anything, we have the chance to stop being seen ass free money. When the big earners are shipped out, replace them on players with lower wages. If they won’t accept reasonable deals, move on.

The question is, would Vestergaard, Daka, Soumare etc have been offered the same elsewhere? Probably no. It’s like bidding against yourself at an auction and paying double the next bidder!

Perfect for Dyche-ball

Sign him up

Visions of one of those passing network graphs and it's just a solid, straight line drawn from Asmir Begovic to Andy Carroll

Yes miles better at right back and I would play JJ at left back where he always seemed more comfortable - I doubt we get KWP as a newly promoted club will take him!

You know I would take a direct focal point with pace flying from wide with more directness than this tippy tappy rubbish which we have no chance be of taking into the prem - Forest play hardly any decent football and barely have a midfielder fit to play football but they using pace have done okay - we need something that works and can be transferred into prem personally get two decent centre half’s who can defend and use Fatawu, Mavididi, Monga, Evans and Bilal if we can keep him with someone holding up and linking play - maybe not Carroll though 😂

Is this genuine? lol If there was still any doubt about the competency of our decision makers, signing a 30 year old who has never scored goals above the 4th tier, then surely even the most staunch supporter of KP (who isn't completely brainwashed) would see that all is lost.

Anyone that wants us to sign Calvert-Lewin should be permanently banned from following football.

Him and Evan Ferguson.

The kind of players where people assume they are still the same as when they were in their purple patches but are currently absolute dogmuck.

Agree re DCL.

Probably a bit harsh on Ferguson. He’s only like, what 20, so stagnated development might be the case. DCL seems like he just had a purple patch like you say.

Not quite “who do we need”, but “who might we look at” and I’m very much thinking of this if Dyche comes in.

Fully believe the stories that he brings in Begovic and Keane.

Harry Toffolo would make sense at left back, steady enough player.

Richard Kone to play alongside Ayew up top, Kieffer Moore as another option.

Probably another AM too, but I don’t see more than 5 or 6 coming in, and that’s with an expectation that 7-8 leave.
