I can't imagine getting any players to get excited about in.

No need, we have those already.

Don’t really understand comments like this I doubt he thought to himself you know what I’m gonna go break his leg?

Well he certainly wasn't trying for the ball when he scissor tackled him

Hamza literally tackles like that all the time, we don’t demand him out of the club? It’s a contact game. Is it shit he broke his leg? Of course. Was it intentional? Doubt it.

Not signing someone because of a tackle in a contact sport is daft. If it was like the tackle on Alves then yeah fair play, but come on now.

It wasn’t much better than the tackle on Alves, it was two footed  and knee high, he was definitely trying to injure Ricardo.

It wasn’t though was it? This is exactly my point we just talk garbage to make it sound worse. Was it a bad tackle, yeah of course it was but it wasn’t two footed and knee high whatsoever lol

There’s some proof for ya 👍

hell of a list that and IMO i think all would attainable i'd say too, certainly wouldnt break the bank too

plus huge potential in terms of sell on as well

these of the types of players we should be looking at imo

Thanks mate, I do my research lol

Ruiz is probably out the equation, but I think the rest would be attainable for around the £5 million bracket.

Ruiz is a good well-rounded player but I think he’s more of an 8 than a 6.

He supposedly rejected Ipswich so can’t see us getting him.

Ideally I’d say we need a 6 and an 8, but the key ingredient is energy, we need two players who will give us legs in midfield and some defensive nous, those I picked out tick those boxes.

The pathetic time it took to sack Ruud and then how long they took to appoint marti is one thing but the fact we haven’t shifted anyone out - not managed to even get 1 of them out on loan is truly unforgivable - the fact that nobody must want any of them and their pathetic wages is laughable if it didn’t make you cry

Most loans happen a bit later than this to be fair, and I doubt any of our lot are top of anyone's list.  Even if they were they probably think they can do better, so you end up waiting until the aims of the player and potential club align.  Which is not in July.

BEK out

Brownhill in

Honestly, I like the balance that Ndidi/Winks/Brownhill has on paper as a midfield. Although I reckon Ndidi is gone.

A bunch of central midfielders who would give us much needed energy and defensive nous. Honourable mentions to Pedro Bravo(Midtjylland) and Besfort Zeneli(Elfsborg) but can’t get their stats in this formula…

If we're doing obscure European footballers, attacking central midfielder Ringo Meerveld for Willems II, they've just been relegated but he was very much their best player last season. TransferMarkt has him valued at €3m and he's only 22, so would fit the bill in terms of what fans are looking for but would probably be bad news for Will Alves as they seem like quite similar players.

He'd be an excellent replace for Bilal, he doesn't offer much in terms of defending but his attacking output is great, gets goals and assists as well as being near impossible to get the ball off. I'm not sure how he'd compare in the charts!

Decent shout, Meerveld caught my attention when RVN was appointed.

If Bilal goes, if we can afford to, I’d be looking at Pavel Sulc at Viktoria Plzen.

If money is indeed tight, then as a few other posters have already mentioned, Jamie Donley on loan from Spurs would be a sensible move.

Right now, as it stands, just a striker!

We could even afford to lose a centre back or two from Faes/Coady/Vesty, Soumare , BDCR and say Kristiansen, and we wouldn't need to replace any of them.
