If this lad comes to us can he speak English? Whoever comes in has to be a part of the squad straight away. Caglar Soyuncu apparently spoke no English when he arrived and it was a full season before he made any impact. Communication is critical for a centre-back.

I’ve watched our centre backs play this season and they can communicate………

Good to see us linked with CBs, as we need an upgrade there to have any chance to survive. Both Djiga and Pavlovic would be smart buys for us.

If they're only just looking now I can't say it fill me with a grain of confidence that he's a good fit and we could complete a move in time.

Based off absolutely nothing, he’ll do! Looking forward to the inevitable “any deal at this stage will be complicated” update to dash any hope.

Haha this would be typical wouldn’t it. Sign him and not playing him until we’re in the EFL and we’ve been slapped with an embargo and a points deduction.
