Really he hope he manages to take this opportunity. Will be big for us in the championship next season.

I'm more interested in what happens here rather than watching us for rest of this season.

Shame he hasn't joined a club in better nick but a Championship loan should be good for him. Hopefully he plays regularly enough.

Need him to have a good 6 months.

We could do with the likes of him and Nelson being a big part of our future.

Nelson has proved he can play at the Championship level, hopefully, Will can too!

Good luck!

The only glimmer of hope I have for next season in the championship is seeing some boys from the academy properly cement their places in our squad - the likes of Alves and Nelson in particular, but hopefully others such as Monga too.

These are exactly my thoughts. Clever move to get our next season's young, key players out on loan to get a taste of the Championship.

There will be a clear-out following relegation this summer, so plenty of opportunities (and, in fact, a requirement) for our own to step up.

A big part of me is already looking forward to next season now. Get rid of the dead wood and reset the club. Mid-table Championship season full of U23s is much preferable to what we've seen this season.

Hopefully he can have a similar impact Barnes did at West Brom - I'd actually look forward to next season knowing we have a quality homegrown winger to watch...

Good luck to him.

Likewise, I agree. I think next season it’s just important to build a team of players we can really get behind. That’ll start with having some academy lads in the team, but will also be dependent on the recruitment of players potentially from a lower level who see us as a genuine step up for them.

The likes of Ayew and Reid have been shambolic signings because not only are they quite limited as players, but they are literally only here for the money as we’ve offered them longer deals than they’d have got elsewhere. They don’t care at all. Get some players signed from league 1 or the lower half of the championship (if we don’t get a transfer ban) that want to play for us and do care.

Back to this specific loan - good luck to Will and I hope he smashes it. It’s a great test for him and I hope it goes a similar way to KDH’s first loan at Blackpool which was also half a season.

Right then Will - for your introduction video we are going to sing heads shoulders knees and toes. Do you know the song?

Something tells me that pose wasn't his idea

He's going to tear it up and get snapped up by Premier League Everton and their shiny new stadium.

We've decided McAteer and Thomas are our spine for next season.
