We just lost 4-0 to Everton and now we’re signing someone who scored a brace in a game against Everton this season - I don’t see why people are so upset ??

I'm not mate. I know he's crap. I also know that Wolves (as they do know Coady) would rather have Coady for their back up bench CB to drop into their back three, over Dawson, who struggles in a three.

He may have been rubbish for us, but I don't think you can under estimate the impact of bringing back a club legend can do for you.

 

He will be far more motivated than he was for us.

 

They also play in a 3 which suits Coady more, always has done.

 

That said getting a big earner off the books to probably the only team that would ever take him on close to what we were paying him, does make some sense.

The positives are he won't be on £100k a week and in the past ge has proven he can play in a back four. Coady is on £100k a week and can't play in a back four.
