For the record:

Enzo joined: 16th June.

Coady signed: 1st July.

Cannon signed: 1st September.


Circa £14 - £16m pointlessly spent by the club.

 

That's fair enough, still maintain Cooper 100% had an influence on those signings though (Ayew & BDCR)

Pretty sure it would work both ways, recruitment draws up a list and manager has some say in it, probably not on all singings but definitely some.

 

That's how they build a team they want, nothing new really.

What's most depressing is Wolves signing Nasser Djiga, yes a bit of an unknown but 6ft 2, 22 years old and plays CB whilst we're looking at a swap deal for the player he's replacing and he's being replaced because their defence is shambolic.

Coady has been one of our worst signings in recent times, £7.5m and top wages and I can't think of a good game he's had. Was behind Nelson at times last season. But he has the media in the palm of his hand, hence the constant PR about being good for the dressing room. Get him gone.

All he does is report info he gets from his contacts at Midlands clubs. Never any guarantee of it actually happening.
