Ed Sheeran has been splashing the cash!

look this season is really not gonna take off until after Christmas once players have bedded in and teams have started to gel and find some rythmn (us included).

we all know it’s a slog in the championship.

we need major luck this time in terms of kel players staying injury free, good long lasting form, high spirits etc. when that points deduction hits it could bring us down but we can’t waiver. That’s why it’s important to keep winning all our games for now. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Just seen an article on facebook that Birmingham City fans are being charged £45 to see there side play at Coventry. Is that likely the cost we will face when we travel to the CBS.

Yes we are ,we're category A+ or some bollocks

We charged them £35. Believe LCFC wanted a reciprocal deal but the rats said no.

That really does drive it home, doesn't it? I'm sure there are loan fees we've had to pay, but to not have any fees paid for permanent additions...wow.

I'd like to see the net spend figures. I think both Ipswich and outhampton probably made a profit this window.

That's interesting, thanks. Not sure what they are including in the 12 arrivals for Leicester, does this include the younger players promoted to the first team squad, loan returns?

Yeah 4 new signings, 4 players promoted from under 21s, and 4 players back from loans

So we’re No. 1 in terms of net revenue per player sold. Better than Southampton.

But long overdue, after years of overspending.

It's not net revenue it's gross isn't it?  It's not taking into account any fees paid for those players.

My bad. Still impressive, though. And a sign of more reasonable transfers to come, one would hope.

Ipswich supporter here. Last Saturday we looked like a good set of individuals but, understandably not a team.  Derby came for a point and spent a great deal of time rolling around is supposed agony to waste time. The goal coming after 105 minutes came as no suprise to anybody.

This will be the test for McKenna. He has to show that what happened in previous seasons was not a one off. We have far to many players who dont evern know their team mates names.

While we have certainly spent,  we have also raised £75m ish from Delap, Hutchinson and Broaders.

But as has been said on here it's early days yet.

Looks some absolutely horrible business you've done bar Egali

How did Southampton get £120+ million for players that scraped 12 points in a whole season?  Witchcraft!

Porto paying about £7m for Jan Bednarek blows my mind

I’m thinking we beat Oxford comfortably but the following two fixtures against Cov and West Brom will represent a truer barometer of where we are as a club in this division and our chances of getting out of it.

Difficult to say at this stage. We know Cajuste is quality of course but the others have barely kicked a ball yet.

The other point is that Nunez was worth it just to annoy the Budgies. And were they ANNOYED !

The pink 'un website went ballistic.

Made me laugh just reading it.
