Why? The rule is (although it’s another one not enforced) the players take from the designated area and the “ballboys” are only to place the ball in the designated area

You then get ballboys not putting balls back on the cones in the away teams attacking half, forcing these situations.

And rightly so. The fine margins are huge in these matches and if I am a Middlesbrough player, I would be fuming.

Surely we can all agree that the funniest ending here is a Saints win on penalties. Followed by absolute Middlesbrough uproar because the nasty James Bond wannabe watched their penalty practice.
