We will stay up. 3 wins 3 draws

I don't see us getting 12 points,  at best we are getting 2 wins 2 draws from our remaining games.

Portsmouth are pretty rubbish, but find this pretty striking. Trailing all second half, Portsmouth had 17 shots tonight. Leicester against QPR, trailing basically all half, we had 4.

As bad as they are, we're a lot worse.

It really is a worry how few chances we've created for almost 40 games.

We have scored quite a lot of goals overall despite having no striker. The real issue is we cant keep the ****er out at the other end.

Go 1-0 up at home and defend solidly, not Leicester, we need to score 4 to have a chance of winning because the defence is so crap.

We are done, any team that cant keep a clean sheet is going down, pure and simple, Every other keep can keep it tight, fight out a 0-0 or a 1-0. We could never.

It’s going to be interesting seeing the people still staying we will stay up after we lose to Sheffield Wednesday in April 🤣

Can see them beating us 1-0 for sure. Rancid state of our club top to bottom

Doesn’t help having butter fingers in goal. Also Okoli is a disaster of a defender always making mistakes he’d struggle in the national league. If Vestergaard is fit on Saturday then he has to start. If Rowett goes with the same 4 at the back we may aswell forfeit the match it’s not worth it anymore. Sounds depressing but that’s how we are all feeling at the moment. Can’t score and can’t defend is the worse recipe for any team we are as much as down!

We haven't created consistent chances for basically five years - minus 6 months in 2023/24.

Shit recruitment. Fixated on all of the irrelevant things tactically. Real losers.

It'll go down to the last game and we are FAMOUSLY good at last day survival battles.

April is key. Preston H, Wednesday A, Swansea H are all winnable.

genuinely absurd how good a finisher JJ is, plus abduls goal of the season competition, because as you say, we create **** all. 21st in the division for xG, 19th in the division for big chances created, 19th for touches in the opposing box, 18th for shots on target. We create nothing and rely on individual quality to disguise that which, in a shock to no one, is exactly the criticisms being levelled at the club in 2022. But, the chairman still doesn't know how we got relegated the first time, as we head towards a third relegation in 4 years. Trying his best though right?

Probably sums up my disinterest in football right now but there’s at least 6 players starting for watford I’ve not heard of before

Not only you. I genuinely not heard of their starting 11 lol. I feel that about most of the teams in this league. League One will be a nightmare, even with the players we will inevitably sign

Easy 3pts on Saturday. They can take a breather.

You scored some good goals though

I hope Wrexham don't make the play offs. End of the roll for them. Then we'll see what they're made of next season when the hype calms a little.

I started off the season with a similar perspective hoping that Wrexham would struggle but as the season has progressed and I've seen them play I've become more tolerant. Whilst they have chucked money at it and not got every decision right, we are a case and point that chucking money at it isn't enough. They've spent really well and a manager who isn't your traditional fashionable manager set up in an organised and effective way. Teflon Jon would only dream of having that.

I always remember your post prior to the 2022/23 season - aged superbly. Yet you feel like the club are almost oblivious to the trends that even fans can see.

James potentially having two relegations to League One on his CV by 21 is an utter travesty. I'm nearly certain he'll have a decent PL career.

James is a very good player.

He sort of reminds me of Lampard in that you know he’s good for a goal and finishes really well, however his overall contribution in games goes somewhat unnoticed.

I’ve thought that for a while.

I compared him to kingy too at the weekend. He could scored some great goals and a great finisher, but sometimes you didn’t notice him in games.

Though I think it’s more in those around JJ then himself to be honest.
