David De Gea? First name is completely incorrect as he signed a new contract at Fiorientina last season. I do wish everyone would stop quoting AI. He's not been a free agent since 2024.

Callum Wilson is about to be let free by WHU.  Has to be better than Ayew but need to convince him to drop a league.  Not overly inspiring but don't think we're in a position to be picky.

I don't think.that would be a bad shout really.

 

Is he better than what we have? Yes ..

 

But it's the convincing him to drop a league that's the problem. Most of the time it's money that does it, and we all.know how fabulous we are at negotiating the best deals for the club.

I've no idea what his current wage is but surely it's something we just can't match if we are in the muck financially.  Get shot of Wout Garfunkel, Winks and the Jogging Donkey then it becomes a different kettle of fish,  but realistically do we see any of them going this window, freeing up some wages?
