I would say over half of our fans have Stockholm syndrome.

We can sack managers.

We can get rid of players.

We can protest to try and remove the board.

But...is there precedence to sack some of the fans?

It cant be too far away that shirt sponsorship is electronically /digitally/IA/ something something techno...   where the sponsor only shows up on the TV screen and is interchangable?

So there will be a "ground shirt" which contains nothing as a sponsor but a blank spot where the logo is digitally added for specific markets...
Australian TV gets - Bunnings
USA TV gets - M&M's
Italy TV gets - Gucci
Thailand TV gets - KIng Power
etc etc etc.

UK to get Greggs.

Good in theory and that tech is sometimes used on electronic advertising boards already. But wouldn't work on fast pace, different angles of players movement and camera angles.

If it was, what about when we walk around wearing the shirts? That is advertising as well, and one of the reasons why they are on the shirts.

I think all sponsors should be independently investigated against specific and clear rules which then sign off the sponsorship. Away from clubs power. So dodgy like this aren't allowed from the start.

BC games was obviously dodgy. Even average fox like me could tell!!

Really a double standard here. If you or I broke the law, we'd be charged, not given the chance to  undo our crime. Why aren't Board members already charged?

This is civil though, which is completely different to criminal law.

We can't undo this. The only way we could is cancel the deal and pay back the money. Then we get screwed on psr.

Our club is a total fvck up.

Top won't be here Saturday and with a chance of prison I doubt we will see him again at the club.

There is no chance of prison. This scarcely changes anything. BC Game will be our sponsor for one more season after this and then we’ll have to find a new (hopefully more appropriate) one.

As I understand it all they have to prove is you can't access it from the UK

We can't even do that.

That’s exactly it. It won’t affect the sponsorship and it’s certainly not going to turn Top into a Ronnie Biggs-type fugitive from the law. It’s just the Gambling Commission flexing its muscles a bit.

True, who would want any of this lot with the wages they are on except Mads and Bilal

But they can't prove that, because you can.

It's also very difficult to prove a negative.

What astonishes me is not only the fact that people bought the replica shirt but even inadvertently endorsing and displaying this shit by wearing it is reprehensible.

Literally the first thing I thought when I saw this.

Let's all point at the finger at him when the Gambling Five-O turn up.

What a shocking double standard, that clubs can be punished for getting sponsorship from gambling companies , whilst being bankrolled by corrupt Arab states is fine.
