SK3Blue Posted 2 March Posted 2 March It’s set up for Palmer to get a hat trick. He won’t change anything, probably bring Ayew back and drop Buonanotte but that’s it.

Wouldn't mind if we conceded whilst scoring plenty in current system but we are pathetic at that too. Would like to think he may have a light bulb moment for this game but expecting same old same old. 2
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 2 March Posted 2 March Think this will be the heaviest defeat of the season so far. 5-0.

If you parachuted in a team like Yeovil Town to play this fixture, I think they might give a better account of themselves than we will. Do Yeovil have better players? No, but ours are completely demoralised and they are beaten before they set foot on the pitch. Any early season fight, which probably accounted for a couple of early victories, has been soundly beaten out of them. I actually think that we did Steve Cooper a favour. I think it inevitable that we would be in exactly the same position with him still at the helm but he has escaped the circus with his reputation actually enhanced. 5
dmayne7 Posted 2 March Posted 2 March Even though he rightfully got pulled up for the lack of tracking back and he's been disappointing this season, Winks needs to play every game. He's the only one who can actually get his foot on the ball and do something to influence the tempo. Just get Ndidi or Skipp to sit in alongside him and then effectively play with a defensive bank of players, and an offensive 3/4 1
Chelmofox Posted 2 March Posted 2 March Really looking forward for the first 10 mins of this when we look good and get a few shots in.
Popular Post Parker Pen Posted 2 March Popular Post Posted 2 March Most teams like Middlesbrough that had the measure of us last season played 532. That’s what I would do and not play Vestergaard and Soumare. In fact they wouldn’t be in the first team squad again this season. 7

I'm not sure about that, plenty of Championship jobs have passed him by since we rightly binned him.
RonnieTodger Posted 2 March Posted 2 March Rip roaring opening two minutes in which we win a throw in. 3

Mickyblueeyes Posted 2 March Posted 2 March We don’t deserve to be on the same pitch as the other 18 PL teams. We will get smashed. We’ve disrespected this league on too many occasions 1

They were already relegated and weren't even trying and at one point, Neil Lennon sat on the ball mid play to show how piss easy it was playing against them. That's literally every team we play now, except they're doing it to us. That was Bradford a couple of years later. We won 3-0. 1
jim5000 Posted 3 March Posted 3 March I just wish Ruud would shake things up. If he won't change the formation, change the players. Bring Thomas in for Kristiansen. Daka in for Vardy Mavindidi starting Skipp for Soumare Anybody in for Vestergaard and Faes Just sick of seeing the same underperforming line up get beaten every week, and literally nothing changes for the next game except Ruud changes one winger. 4

Particularly at centre half. His positioning, strength and bravery is very questionable at right back, he'd be completely flummoxed in that position! 3
phoneticerror Posted 4 March Posted 4 March (edited) I’m taking my lad to Wembley for the Sidemen charity match at the same time. I never thought I’d prefer watching a bunch of YouTubers more than our club, but here we are, Edited 4 March by phoneticerror 2
Filbert Fireworks Posted 4 March Posted 4 March (edited) If we see something different like a back 5 fair enough. If he rolls out 4231 a small part of me hopes its an absolute cricket score so RVN gets the sack. Ashamed of wishing for that but there it is. Edited 4 March by Filbert Fireworks

Pita Posted 4 March Posted 4 March Play the kids. I would rather take a hammering than watch our lot plying at 1/2 speed and just don’t care about the club
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 4 March Posted 4 March I'm just hoping we play experienced players like Bobby DCR and Jordan ****ing Ayew obviously 🙄 experience will win the day
