Yeah

Clearly talking about Sheffield Wednesday when he says we’ve (we have)

also consider the fact starting a sentence with “ what could be worse” is often a rhetorical question and adding ‘ maybe’ onto the end of the reply is alluding to the fact the person answering the question understood that.

Cannot wait for this appointment to be done and dusted.

Its been no fun what so ever.

Just get on with it, don't care who any more.

You do realise attention will turn onto the Transfer Talk and we'll be having 100 page threads for an injured 38 year old who we're paying £50k on a 5 year contract.

But we’ve all assumed that it definitely means the guy that’s just extended as assistant is definitely going to be their manager, despite multiple reports earlier in the day linking us with another manager?

I think people need to take a few steps back and grab some fresh air lol

Top is flying back to watch polo. Just like he did last week. Might squeeze in some interviews but it’s nothing more exciting than that…

Not how it works, he doesn’t have to sign a another new contract to become the manager

So who is the ready made PL standard manager who we can attract right now that your crystal ball tells you that we won't need to be sacking in 18 months time?

You don’t need to recruit a ready made PL standard manager. You just might as well take a risk in The Championship with a younger manager not tainted with the sackings that O’Neil has experienced very quickly in ALL of his management experiences at Premier League level. How do players look at O’Neil? Like the rest of us, we know he isn’t good enough to lead a team at that level and so will the players. He showed it most recently last season when he first blamed VAR then publicly blamed his players for somehow managing to be worse than an awful LCFC team. Then Vitor Pereira came in and showed everyone that (as Wolves fans already knew,) Wolves’ poor form was down to O’Neil’s poor management.

He’s widely regarded by press at their end to be taking over from Rohl once his severance is sorted.

true, but by such reports, Pedersen is going to be their manager once Rohl leaves, and as someone else said they cant appoint another till Rohl has officially gone as stated already

and remember last year when we had multiple reports on us getting Potter?

yeah until its signed we are getting GON in or whoever it is, im not going to fully believe it all
