Ties in with the stadium announcer introducing the side like they've just won the world club championship rather than one in twelve in the championship .....AND NOW, YOUR LEICESTER CITY TEAM, IN GOAL ......

I am always offended by that. Leave me out of it, I didn't pick Jordan Ayew up front, it's got nothing to do with me. lol

The young lass that does the social media couldn't wait to run onto the pitch to record her videos for TikTok at the final whistle.

Ever since they started playing “When You’re Smiling” on the shit speaker system pre-match, we’ve progressively got worse.

I know this is gonna sound bad but I've never been completely onboard with When Your Smiling tbh, I preferred the Hey Jude song as we could at least get a bit of power or aggression behind it to set the tone for the game whereas I feel when your smiling is a bit downbeat in tone maybe in years to come after its had the presence and longevity of other club anthems it will become a bit more meaningful

Things I would get rid of;

  1. That pre-match montage that has about 2 seconds worth of history of the club pre-King Power.
  2. The light shows.
  3. The fire cannon things.
  4. "Honesty flags".
  5. "City Beats" - Just about the most "how do you do fellow kids" thing I have ever seen.
  6. "Your Leicester City Side"
  7. Fan Cam.
  8. The thousands of adverts for Thai products and BC Game.
  9. The dreadful sound system.

All of it takes away from any sort of natural atmosphere or excitement.

The only two things they do right are playing Club Foot and When You're Smiling.

The prematch propaganda video with the applauding of the prem trophy lifting feels like a constant reminder that we should be forever thankful and never criticise Top or King power - feels like an indoctrination video to me and to show so little pre king power Leicester city sort of reinforces that point

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of it in that slow style.
Love it when the fans chant it in the faster, more aggressive rhythm.  But that slow, soft, friendly pre-match tone isn't for me.

Does anyone else think that the pre match montage is becoming a problem? Of course the PL title win was epic and the greatest achievement in the history of sport, but it epitomises KP and KPFC attitude of living in the past.

Yeah, I've always disliked it because for years we've had fans who would rather clap a video on the screen than actively support the team on the pitch (even back when we had a squad worth supporting).

I feel like the whole point of a home game is to make your ground a bit of an uncomfortable place to go and make it harder for the opposition and just get behind the team as a whole, but the home fans get policed and steward attention more - especially around G1 and SK1 for some reason, the prematch song is soft, the crowd sits in silence and only claps a view, then the only people trying to create an atmosphere get criticised relentlessly - teams look forward to coming to the KP because its almost like playing at home, the away end is easy to get bouncing and Leicester's team attitude at the kp is appalling

We need more of her energy around the place mate, when she joined in the summer creativity picked up massively, but it's clearly been managed out of her by the under-qualified lifers in management, on the main channels especially (X and META channels).

We need more life and energy throughout the club, particularly in marketing.

The honesty flags are an aberration.

"Honesty Flags" would have made a great protest campaign.

Just a load of fans turning up with flags that had their true feelings on

would immediately kill the family friendly vibe they're going for with that.

We'll be like forest losing to the likes of Yeovil in the league 1 playoffs walking out and saying well at least we won the prem - not a great look when bromley and Burton come to town

Do you know how long we've been singing WYS? I starting going as a kid in the early 70's and it was being sung then. Probably as long as Liverpool/Celtic have been singing their 'downbeat' in tone song.

Hey Jude  What's that got to do with us? Are you trolling?

I actually don’t think it helps the match day atmosphere either as we get a reminder of the heights, and then a few minutes later we see the lowest point - the likes of Ayew stroll around who’s just been given the squad number of our greatest ever player who is featured so much in the montage.

I don’t think Forest brainwash their fans with the past with pre match videos like this, and I know to some extent it’s different as we are still owned by the same family, but for various reasons it’s causing more harm than it’s worth imo.

Spot on, been saying to my friends in the ground for a couple of years that the montage needs dropping.

I find it embarrassing in our present predicament.
