Clutching at straws here, but we went into the break for the World Cup in 2022 in excellent form and dropped off a cliff on the return. Any chance the opposite will happen now?

No chance it’ll just be the same

No amount of time off, or international breaks is reversing the shite we are being served, it's here for the season and beyond, as nothings changed, only the date.

What's wild is even if we mirrored what we did in 2014/15, with 22 points from a possible 27, Wolves need 4 wins and a draw from their final 9 games and we'd likely still go down on goal difference 😂😂😂

Anything is possible in football, but I can't see a scenario where we don't go down this season.

Yes.

I for one could totally see the team that has lost 13 of the last 14 games - eleven of which without scoring a goal - turning this around.

Hypothetically, if everything has clicked for ruud in this break and we go on a mad run and survived.

would this rank as the second best thing a manager has achieved?

Pearsons great escape obviously had potential title winners in the club.

So surely, this would be the most incredible achievement other than the title win.

We’ll drop off even further

Well I did say I was clutching at straws!

These straws you're clutching, was there a line or two of cocaine at the end of them?

This is a rhetorical question isn't it?

I can see it somehow getting worse. Some proper shellackings coming. Reckon there's at least one 6+ loss.

Not a hope in hell ... they have already accepted relegation... their body language tells you that ..  the sad part is so have the real supporters who are having to live through it and the consequences ahead
