Can I just remind everyone that the ****s who run our club now gave the number 9 shirt, which should have been retired, to Jordan ****ing Ayew. Think about that. Leicester's number 9.

Interesting that in this interview - he credits Steve Walsh for picking players with the attitude that fits. And also says the first time he heard about Pearson's sacking was through Sky news.  Great interview by the way.

Watching this just made me sad and wish for those Pearson times based again, before Aiyawatt, Rudkin and a less extent, Vichai, pulled it all apart. Players who cared, crowd invested and passionate. What happened?

I hadn’t realised all that birth father thing had happened to him, seemingly from the documentary, after the Man Utd 11 heaven game, before the next game away at Swansea. Makes you wonder if he’d have extended the scoring streak even further if that hadn’t happened! Though maybe just one where it was always going to end that day after having beaten it.

The harmonious era when a player was sacked after an alleged race-related brawl with teammates (Wayne Brown) and our manager told fans berating him to **** off and die? :D

I love the Nigel Pearson era (and want another one!), but we can have selective memories and look back with rose tinted glasses. Ben Marshall podcast made it sound like a pretty terrible culture.

We've always been chaotic, even when we were very very good. Vardy casino incident, youth players with Thai prostitutes, Ulloa and Mahrez on strike...

Fans are much more forgiving of such things when you win on a Saturday.

Pretty sure Ben Marshall was the terrible culture!

I’m not cherry picking moments out like you have. That situation wasn’t Pearson’s best moment of course.

I am talking overall, the health of the club. The stuff behind the scenes, sports science, scouting, players playing for the shirt. You’ll always be able to pick out one or two like you have but Wes Morgan? James? Drinkwater? Vardy? Huth? Kante and Fuchs were Pearson/Walsh signings.

The club was in such good health then. My point was how everything has deteriorated since they left.

To add to this, when we’d go a goal down it didn’t really matter as we knew we’d come back and have a go. Going a goal down didn’t mean the crowd would turn like they have the past few seasons, which I’ll add has been merited.

I always used to say this.  If we were down at half time i always pictured pearson grabbing a few by the scruff of the neck, reading the riot act and demanding more.

Not something i imagined any subsequent managers doing

It's a documentary that could have come out five years ago.

Most Foxes forget how badly Vardy struggled during his first season with us.  Only Pearson's perseverance with him rescued his career, both then and again in 2014-15 when he went a full SIX MONTHS without scoring.

Vardy is a strong character who needs careful management. Sadly, under the current regime at City, he wasn't always given that.

My favourite bit of the Lineker interview is Vards saying he had to sit on the floor out the way watching the Spurs Chelsea 15/16 game because he had a brand new tattoo done that day and Wasyl kept slapping it for a laugh lol lol lol
