Just realise Woyo Coulibaly is playing for Sassuolo. Just made a massive defensive header to prevent a Lecce winner.

Three minutes left...

Are we just going to loan him out until he leaves? I don’t need to watch any of him to know that he’s already better than any of our other senior fullbacks 😂

i was expecting vardy to open the bottle with his teeth

Reminds me of a baseball player whose edges were rougher than Vardy's, but burned just as bright for a moment.

Won rookie of the year, but quickly flamed out and is remembered mostly for opening beers with his eye socket,

and for $25 bare knuckle fights in the minor leagues.

Vardy might well have taken a similar path if not for Pearson, Walsh and Shakey.

Cremonese need simply to better Lecce's result next week. A big ask but still a great effort for them to be in with a shout on the final day.

Had a feeling lol

Proper mixed feeling after that though. That Lecce goal probably sends them down.

Cremonese are dead and buried. From what I've watched of them this season they are dreadful with hardly any ability with the ball.

Como will dick them.

That 96th minute Lecce goal kills them but I think even at 2-2 they were down.

Como will beat Cremonese and I can't see Lecce losing to Genoa.

The relegation last year was confirmed weeks before, but the whole ground sold out in minutes when Ipswich was announced as his final game. There’s very few players in any club’s history who achieve that level of legendary status.

I've been putting off watching the doc thinking that I'd just get more annoyed about how badly it's gone wrong.

It actually had the opposite effect. The further away from that season we get, the more surreal it feels. Just completely bonkers.

Agreed. Really enjoyed the documentary and it brought back all the memories of the crazy time that it was!

One little thing I do every year is check the PL table after 30 matches played and look at side at the bottom. Then you say "That team is going to stay up and then win the league next season"

Which of course, sounds insane!

Like, Wolves staying up this season then winning it!

Does he have that one-year extension no matter what league Cremonese are in next season?

Serie B records to be broken...

Would he rather be in League 1?

It’d be a great end to his career story if he goes to Sheffield Wednesday and plays a part in getting them back up under their new ownership to be fair.

Didn't Vardy say precisely that he didn't want to play for a club in the same division as Leicester? I guess Sheffield Wednesday is a different kettle of fish, though, especially as his chances to go back there are fast running out.

It'd be horrible to see him lining up against us but he deserves to do whatever he likes.

Genuinely, the club need to build the statue already. Name a stand after him. Name the stadium after him. Do something.

Watched the documentary last night and it’s incredible what he achieved being as he was so off the rails, I saw his Mrs in a different light and she was as instrumental in his revival as anyone. Great watch.
