They've got different surnames for one thing. For another, MON has done about five months of club management in the last decade so I don't think there's any way anyone could be confident of his ability to get us promoted

FrankieADZ Posted 12 June 2025 Posted 12 June 2025 well Rohl isnt going Wolfsburg theyve gone for Paul Simonis from Go Ahead Eagles 1
kingfox Posted 12 June 2025 Posted 12 June 2025 Wolfsburg with some managerial continuity. Wish we did that.

Even if he was an absolute football obsessive, his knowledge of the game would be on par (at best) with a 7 year old UK football obsessive. Thought this myself. The Maresca Man City stuff conveniently came after they'd just won the treble. I'd imagine in the summer it'll be "Sean Dyche promised me he'd have us playing like PSG" 3

Let’s be honest, the majority of football obsessed people in this country still no absolutely nothing. You only have to take a quick glance at some of the opinions on here. I believe there’s always a need for a competent director of football. A yes man, to someone that wants us to be like the best team on the telly is simply doomed for failure.

Whatever Top's shortcomings running the show on his own, I thought that he was a football obsessive. So much so that that was the reason Vichai bought the club.

murphy Posted 12 June 2025 Posted 12 June 2025 There is plenty out there to suggest that Vichai bought a club to bond with his football obsessed son (Top), but if you know better, let's hear it.
FrankieADZ Posted 12 June 2025 Posted 12 June 2025 Dont think Rohl will come here, Brentford need a new manager, they could go for Rohl, they could go for McKenna from Ipswich and they could go for Rohl, think this ship will sail sadly as this club are idiotic

You don’t like Martin O’Neil because of a Sheffield Utd match, you’ll have to remind me of this horrendous moment from a legend of Leicester as my memory isn’t what it used to be

I always wondered who was shouting at Martin that day, looks like he just revealed himself after all these years 🥴 Went on to become a legend and he unfortunately never forgot the abuse he got which gave him an excuse to join Celtic sadly. Hes too old now though to manage us and I’d prefer to remember to good times.

Was gutted when he left us. 2

Brentford are a very data driven and analytical club so will choose their next manager based want metrics they are looking for. They could very easily look abroad and probably will, don't think Rohl and Mckenna will be early favourites.
