I go back to Banks and Shilton as the best I can remember and it seems like we have been a club that have had more good keepers than most. Or maybe that's a fallacy or miss-remembering and a bias from my love of being a goalkeeper back in the day.

Pegguy Arphexstad (sp) was kind of unique and entertaining in a strange way. (I wonder what he's doing these days).

Ward will be be an obvious choice as the worst in the recent club history.

Worst has got to be Ward

Best Banks. Used to love watching him.

Incredible to watch. His positioning and reactions were just top drawer.

Goalkeepers over the years have made some incredible saves but the one by Banks in 1966 v Germany is a moment in footballing history

I really liked Keller, but somehow Flowers and Walker felt like an upgrade at the time as they had won the Premier league and been first choice for Spurs for years respectively, and both around the England team albeit without many caps.

Mark Wallington was a great keeper, Ian Andrews showed lots of promise but then the media were talking him up for England and his form dropped.

Other decent keepers, Paul Cooper (penalty saving) Kevin Poole wasn’t bad, Tim Flowers, Pegguy Arphexad.

Never rated Douglas, Henderson, Chris Weale, Pressman, Gavin Ward, Martin Hodge.

Banks and Shilton before my time so I’ll go with Kasper as the best.

Ward and Ricardo the worst.

Kasper in my time supporting the club.

Worst I remember are Mike Hooper, Martin hodge. Then Douglas was pretty poor.

Danny Ward - No one compares - How he is a professional footballer I'll never understand.

Best I'd go with Wallington in my LCFC lifetime.

I'd also give a mention to Kasey Keller who was fantastic for us.

Clearly Kasper was brilliant but for us and is the obvious choice.

Almost certainly will be this club’s only ever WC winner .

No denying he wasn’t very good for us. But he was ahead of his time, he’d be a £30 million pound goalkeeper nowadays.

Ward is decent in games against League One/Two sides in cup games. Atrocious in PL games and it can only be a mental thing about not being able to handle the pressure imo. But truly an abomination he’s been here this long on the sizeable wage he’s on, but at the same time not surprising - its a bit of a trend…
