Mads Hermansen (close to 18m move to West Ham)

I think this is good.  Brentford are the kind of suitor that Mads might push for but wouldn't be paying us a fee in the region we really want.  Now it's just Bournemouth needing a Kepa replacement and the big boys.  Or we get stuck with a keeper we were all wanking about before he got injured.

With Jakob seemingly ready to play, it is just an area we can make money but not be heavily effected by. 
 

It will be a huge problem if we can’t get what we expect for him as the knock on effect will be selling players we actually need to keep for example someone like Nelson

Same, definitely deserves his crack at being a #1. Although there’s something about buying Liverpools reserve keeper for £12m up front that makes me oddly uneasy…!

If he goes anywhere i can only see it being West Ham, Wolves or Bournemouth. Otherwise I think he stays

Chatter seems to have all but disappeared for him and BEK, after that article that said we may not need a firesale. Would be nice to finally have some good news, maybe we can just sell the deadwood to finance our summer

Easier said than done. 80% if them will be stinking the place out next season don't worry.

Chelsea in for Mike Maignan as well - so if that deal happens, looking like Man Utd who've scouted him could be frontrunners.

If Chelsea pass on Mads what other realistic prospect of raising a sizeable fee is there? Obviously we don’t want to give him away but doesn’t our summer spending depend on selling Mads for a premium.

Good shout. Feels like there is a decreasing pool of options, increasing the prospect of a low ball offer.  I worry that with the  being all over the shop we may need to sell other assets like Nelson who ideally we keep and build around.

Yesmah my worry is we end up selling Nelson for £15m and take less for El Khannouss / Hermansen to make up the shortfall.

Mads to Man Utd makes sense on the face of it but I just don't see him being an Amorim target tbh.

32 and had quite a poor season for them

 

Fabianski is leaving as well so I can see them looking for a new number 1 with Areola becoming back up

Yeah Areola is not very good, camera save merchant. They are supposedly interested in Ramsdale who in my totally unbiased opinion is a worse goalkeeper than Hermansen and I presume would cost at least as much, likely more.
