coolhandfox Posted 7 May 2025 Posted 7 May 2025 Don't under why people care were players go, if we can get 25m from Brentford that's fine. 3
LFEFox23 Posted 7 May 2025 Posted 7 May 2025 We cant turn down £25m unfortunately, he's been good for us and will be a class goalkeeper for someone else. 1
Jazzy_Jeff Posted 7 May 2025 Posted 7 May 2025 Happy to sell him with Jakub taking over next season. Cant help but feel £25m is cheap though regardless of our relegation. Im not happy with the idea of Utd spending double that on Onana who is absolute gash. That Greek went to Newcastle from Forest who is third choice - I know he was a PSR fiddle but we should be using that case the drive the price up. 1

BKLFox Posted 8 May 2025 Posted 8 May 2025 Another red top but Aston Villa are expected to trade heavily again in the transfer market this summer and will consider offers for Emi Martinez if Unai Emery and his staff believe they can sign a younger alternative of similar ability. Mads fits the bill, hopefully can at least get a bidding war going as teams seem to be looking for keepers. 1
Ian Nacho Posted 10 May 2025 Posted 10 May 2025 Think this is just agent talk but probably due to him being after a move.
Pita Posted 10 May 2025 Posted 10 May 2025 If Ruskin has anything to do with it he will sell him for £10,000 1
coolhandfox Posted 11 May 2025 Posted 11 May 2025 With Brentford likely to sell Mbeumo they should have plenty of cash. 1

It's difficult to use Manure as a barometer for players values !! They are infamous for paying too much for players .. 1

Fair point but sometimes its also what can he do for a club that wants to buy him. If he went to a better team that played better football with a better defence e.g Chelsea he adds a huge amount opposed to what they have in the sticks. 1

I get that but i don't think this season has indicated he should be going for that sort of money, and another season in the championship devalues him further. Obvs if someone comes in for 40mil we should take it, but we cant over value him. Taking Onana out of the equation, how many go for that sort of money?

Saudi clubs are thought to be showing some interest in Onana. Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens and Leicester’s Mads Hermansen are among those United have watched.

Hopefully we add a United premium to get an extra 5 or 10m. I still think Enzo will be back for him, with the extra authority he'll have after securing CL football. I’ve been speaking to my mate about it for a while (he’s a Man U fan) saying how good a signing he’d be for them and how it makes so much sense that it probably won’t happen with our basket clubs
