How have you surmised that? I've not seen that reported anywhere. We were led to believe the 3 year period to the end of 23/24 we hadn't breached as the PL said in January that nobody had. The issue was though we hadn't submitted our accounts for 23/24 to them for them to assess it.

They subsequently did and announced towards the end of the season that we had. It was also announced that they were unable to overturn the 22/23 alleged breach.

the whole reason we got the embargo from the EFL is that we wouldn't let them have the books as we said we hadn't been an EFL side, the PL tried to do it and we said no as we weren't a PL side at the time they needed to be filed.

The accounts assessed last season were for the 3 year period ending 23/24, I believe the PL have now changed their rules to close the loop hole we exploited and are trying to retroactively apply them to us to asses us for the 3 year period ending 22/23

This is where I cannot see it being legal

That’s more like it, perfect world is we are not in this mess and he is our number 1. However this is not a perfect world.

I can see us getting £30m for him and sign a couple of Chelsea home grown players for £5m - £10m in total to help them with PSR wriggle room

I wouldn't be against that if we got a couple of players that would be involved in the first time. Alfie Gilchrist/David Datro Fofana/Caleb Wiley level of player.

How long does he have left on his contract? I genuinely think he's worth more than this.

I hope you’re correct.

However, I would say so in today’s market goal keepers don’t tend to go for loads of money and also Chelsea know that realistically, we have to sell.

Paid that with a reasonably poor second half of season, relegation, PSR and our recently ability to sell players for under value. We are not going to north of 25.

Can see Chelsea going for Mads now, they will only have 34 keepers left

Everytime I see you are the most recent poster in a thread, I know there's going to be news.

Jesus. Crazy money to pay for a keeper as a newly promoted club.

Southampton did the same with Ramsdale last season.

To be fair, Ramsdale was Arsenal's number 1 and Saints had spent a decade in the top flight.

Sunderland not long ago in absolute turmoil so it's just crazy money

If Mads goes to Chelsea, would you have KDH back as part of the deal?

We’re not getting KDH back anytime soon. If Chelsea were to let him leave, I am sure the likes of Villa / Newcastle would be in for him.

Personally I think he’d really fit in at United.

Hopefully he goes Chelsea and we get favours out of it.

Reduced fee but get a couple of high quality Loans out of it that help us get promoted.
