Like somebody has said earlier in the thread, we don’t distribute them well enough. The club shop(s) and the JC Sports are the only place you can pick them up physically and they’re all in the city itself. 
 

It’s not even like they’ve tried to sell shirts in Loughborough, Hinckley, Melton etc.

Yeah, but who else has their kit in duty free throughout Thailand :brendan_still:

I'd love to know how many shirts we've sold in Thailand since 2010. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority where bought by actual fans holidaying there than Thai locals.

General feel around the club hasn't exactly been great, probably would have seen lower sales than in previous years, so no real rush to get it released. 

Relying on the fact that we're all waiting on it to be released so we rush out to buy it as soon as it's released. The fact that this topic is only on 16 or 17 pages with only a handful of fan concepts and a splattering of rumours tells you all you need to know about the demand for a new shirt this season, and it's not that high on the agenda for anyone. 

 

I, for one, will be buying it if only to keep my 30+ year steak going, but in terms of actually getting "excited" for it and wanting it, I won't be ordering or buying the day it's out

In reality, it’s probably a sponsor issue. We’ve put sponsors on shirts in photoshop in the past.

Won't the steak have gone of buy now or have you kept it in the freezer for 30 years.

A few weeks ago I saw the 23-24 home and black kits being sold for £52 at the Adidas outlet in Pear Mill, Stockport.

 

I didn't bother. I already have the black one with the blue sash and I didn't like the home kit enough to shell out £52 for a top that'll be two seasons out of date next month.

The kits went into production well in advance of the new crest

Villa's two recent crest changes were both almost a year before making it onto the next kits, for example.
