Only watch it for a laugh, it's certainly not a serious musical event.

Our song this year is definitely better than the last 2 years though. If it has decent staging it could do alright. 

Spot on. We never take it seriously. Get Adele or Ed Sheeran to write a song and wipe the floor with the lot of them but instead we have dreadful songs performed by non entities.

I prefer to come into this blind (blind drunk preferably) and take each song on its merits rather than indulge in the semi finals, the bookies favourites, the streaming figures etc etc, fair enough to all who do I just prefer to be surprised on the night (but probably miss some fun of the non-qualifiers) . Haven’t even heard ours yet :dunno:.

Will use my usual marking criteria, a mark out of ten for the song and a mark out of ten for, ahem, “presentation”. Hard to gauge where to pitch marks on the first few, where the ceiling levels should be, maybe watching the semi’s would help with that?
