Is this another summer of delays and not knowing what's happening? Could a transfer embargo end up being in place by the start of the new season? 

 

We should already be 2/3rds of the way to planning the Championship season, with deals in place for our priority targets, and instead we don't even know if our current failed manager will still be with us.

 

Get the feeling Rudkin and Co are looking forward to a summer break with no eye on next year until July again.

Will the penny drop with Top and he is forced to implement real change at the club or rely on a change of manager to deflect blame being directed at the Board.

 

I suspect the latter, but even then who do they attract with the authorities falling over themselves to hammer us.

I’m surprised at how many people seem to be more against the club than they do the authorities, in this situation. 
 

They’ve ripped up their own rule book to come back for more after losing a case. They’re acting on spite. 
 

All whilst failing to deliver the final verdict on Man City - because going against a state will inevitably unearth all the corruption beneath the surface.

Can I ask? You seem completely unwilling to criticise the club here.. I can't deny the rules are a mess but surely you can acknowledge the club has worked itself into a complete state..

I suppose that’s a fair point, looking from the benefit of hindsight. However if a big tall hill started spitting out and seeping what appeared to be fire/smoke/burning material I think I’d be making like a prime Jamie Vardy and scampering away at pace 😂

I just don’t think the EPL will ever get over us winning the league, I don’t think they would be pursuing us as relentlessly as they have if we didn’t win the league and the FA cup…. When the reality is, we’ve done all of that spending less than the likes of Forest and Villa…… and yet we are the ones being relentlessly pursued, and we’ve been relegated now twice…… 

 

This isn’t the PL doing their due diligence, this is a witch hunt.

A witch hunt? Yet if Southampton or Ipswich done anything similar the same would be happening to them. 
That wouldn’t be because they have been successful the last 10 years.

This all stems from over expenditure, 116% wages to turnover. Every pound in revenue was costing £1.16p 

The sustainability of that a PL level let alone the fall out from Championship level soon after
