Brentford playing a risky game over Mbeumo as they continue to play hardball with Man U rejecting a 2nd offer of £62.5m.

They risk Man U moving on leaving them with a disgruntled player who only has 1yr left on his contract.

Bloody hell, one year left? That’s just poor sense from Brentford. Feels like they are just being different/awkward for the sake of it. He’s a decent player, not worth that. If Man Utd are willing to pay it, more fool them.

I don’t like saying this as we have been on the end Brentford are there and we are hate how the rich clubs just come and pluck our best players. But that is greedy by Brentford. They have an excellent deal there with the player in question and having only a year left.

Touchline interviews with substituted players and camera access to dressing rooms are set to feature in Premier League TV coverage next season.

Camera operators will also be allowed to briefly enter the field of play to film close-ups of goal celebrations.

Such coverage is a regular feature of sport in the United States but has rarely been seen in the UK.

The players should used go full F1 without a swear filter, that will soon stop the sub interviews.

It will probably last until the first time someone says something offensive or controversial.

Assume it will be players subbed after scoring after a hat trick to a standing ovation. Rather than someone dragged after half hour because they are getting battered..

Mind you as Mo Salah often shows players don’t like going off in any circumstances.

Chelsea - £222m

Liverpool - £216.3m

Man City - £116.5m

thus far and they haven’t finished just yet.

Will assume Arsenal, Man U & Spurs will be gearing up to spending big also.

No EPL of course there’s not a problem with you PSR rulings.

It's not breaking the rules, its more of a smart sensible move. Maybe more clubs should look to do this, to get round this PSR rubbish.

almost like the PSR rules arent fit for purpose anymore tbh

Shame this idiotic club didnt do all this bending the rules while they was still in the premier league(as you cant sell assets to yourself in teh EFL/europe)

The promoted clubs already making some really decent signings. They're all risks but exactly the right type of risk. Hartman could be a massive coup, Bornauw is the perfect gamble for that price and most jealous of Sunderland splashing the cash on Habib Diarra. He's one of those midfielders who's got the capability to do everything.

The more clubs discredit and abuse PSR the better, I've said all along we're the mugs for perennially being in the halfway house of restricting ourselves but never complying either.
