Liverpool should be more fun to watch this year.

Ofc. They have a midfield/attack worth a billion and they want Isak also. FIFA/FA and all football authorities have ruined the sport beyond repair now.

So did Cooper and Ruud to be fair

Difference is we were playing at the level above. Despite what I think of most of our players, they shouldn't look so out of their depth at this level.

3 white people discussing racism in the game. Commentator is white. They also then interviewed Adam Smith and Arne Slot to ask them their views....again, both white. Obviously Sky aren't responsible for whatever the Liverpool fan came out with, but they're not exactly promoting diversity themselves.

Not knocking them for discussing it, just seems a tiny bit ironic that those who are far more likely to suffer racism aren't given a voice in the discussion.

Arteta talking out of his arse, unusually.

Man City: 89 + 91 + 71 = 251
Arsenal: 84 + 89 + 74 = 247

I think of it wasn't for him I'd actually be alright with them winning something. He creates the delusion that their fanbase has become famous for

Semenyo is some player, shocked he’s signed a new deal

Seems very level headed and down to earth, I remember an interview with him saying the club suited him and got the best out of him. Seemingly he was suggesting if he went anywhere else he would risk being just another number and potentially not the setup to thrive.

He really needs to get his facts straight before mouthing off. Fact is only one number matters and that is 0 titles.

He's a lovely, grounded fella. Nearly jacked the game in a few years back so I feel he really appreciates the opportunities he's been given and grasped. One of the good guys.

Single game into the season and we've already had an iffy VAR call and a bloke kicked out for racism.

I would say a dodgy onfield decision, it's far too far out to be classed as a goal scoring opportunity so not a red which is the only way VAR would be able to intervene. The ref has to spot that and give the free kick to Liverpool and the yellow to the defender.
