Only just seen the VAR decision for Chelsea's penalty for the 2nd goal. How did Joao Pedro not get a handball given against him before Fulham's handball was deemed so via VAR?

Did Joao Pedro not make his body bigger too?!

Proximity. It came at him from too close to be able to react.

There's a lot of penalties given where defenders have handballed in close proximity and can't get out of the way!

Fair play to Brentford rinsing Newcastle for £55m for a 29 year old with only 1 year left on his deal. Shows that a competent club can still get very good prices for players who have thrown their toys out of the pram.

Thats an awful bit of business for Newcastle.

I know the Isak deal is big, but for the last two hours on Sky Sports News, it's been that transfer, Guehi's future or Man Utd's goalkeeping woes and a bit of Sherwood making a 10ft putt somewhere.

Fvck all about any other club's transfer news.

Imagine if we get scenario if fans of football sabotage are player exit by causing a traffic jam on deadline day. Forcing player to miss the cut off time.

it's more to do with paperwork than being physically present...

He's not even that good. Last season he scored 20 goals, for the first time, and now thinks he's better than Brentford.

Feels very similar to Liverpool's sell Torres buy Carroll and Suarez in the hope one works out, mostly likely Woltemade

Martinez deal to Man U is off. United signed another goalie instead so, Martinez will be staying at Villa.

They paid double the transfer market price for an average, inconsistent Belgium keeper. There's no way Lammens can start in PL and especially under this pressure at Man Utd. Paying 18M for him is shocking.

So Newcastle lose an unsettled player but also gain from one at another club ?

Shearer said anything about Wissa doing what Isak is doing? Makes you think.

The amount of money being spent on absolute guff is astounding.

Probably gonna be £3bn by the time the window shuts tonight and I would say that probably only Isak is of genuine proven beyond doubt world class level.

The Premier League really ought to be getting players in that are of Balon d'Or level when you're talking of 100m+ transfers. I do think that football is in a bit of a lull though at the moment.

Yeah, the numbers at the moment seem ridiculously high. Especially when you have teams flogging women's teams and hotels to sustain this.

I think Glasner will be at Leverkusen by the end of the international break.

Parish seems to just put hurdle after hurdle up for him, it seems mad from the outside.

Leverkusen feels like a very good shout.

The best bit is when it all ends in tears.
