Newcastle were brilliant. 2-0 down, ten men, three players off injured and pretty much dominated the last 50 minutes. Did not deserve to lose.

The only thing missing to cap this game off was some iconic, unscripted, poetically mesmerising Peter Drury commentary "it's Rio NHUHOMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

It wasn't like they were hit on a fast break though. Liverpool just scored a really good goal. Newcastle looked like the only ones who were going to win the game until then.

Hmmm wouldn't have minded Osula on loan, but I guess he will stay there this season and maybe have more cameos off the bench now.

Interesting how we are critical of Rudkin and his relationship with Jon Morris yet this weekend I have heard of two fans from elsewhere in the PL moaning about agent links. 

 

West Ham fans are pissed off with the link Will Salthouse and his agency has with Sullivan and West Ham. Forest are concerned about Edu's relationship with Kia J (not going to bother trying to spell his surname). Howe's nephew is heavily involved with Newcastle's recruitment and interim Sporting Director.
