TBF Carranza got two decent through balls in the first half against Pompey and couldn't get his feet right. It's as much getting yourself in a position as it is having the service.

Do feel like if other clubs were struggling like we are up top they’d have someone like Evans at least on the bench.

Thing is, even if Evans came on and was no better than Daka or Carranza, at least there would be a bit of goodwill around him being a young lad. Mind you, knowing this fan base, probably not actually.

Aren't we waiting for Lorenzo Hutchinson to sign a pro deal too? Would be a great message to the younger lads to get him on the bench tomorrow now this issue is resolved.

He really reminds me of Barnes. Got to be said though, that defending was pathetic, worse than our first teams attempt to stop the Portsmouth goal  not sure the defender wanted the ball to touch him
