I believe it’s the most serious it’s ever been. Not every team can qualify for it!

The best teams of the season should participate in it. Man City was awful all season and it was the same in this tournament. They also called up some plumbers and teachers to form a football team.

What happened

Didn't get out of the way after handing over the trophy and ended up front and centre for the trophy lift, then the bouncing.

That might be the funniest thing trump has ever done lol

That was brilliant! Being obviously ushered away but ignored them all to get involved. What a hilarious idiot. Next media call - ‘the London blues team, best friends of mine, really great guys. I’ve been a fan for many years’

Still feels like glorified pre-season tournament, PSG did look gutted and showed more emotion at the end. Whilst Chelsea, I dunno looked like they find winning the conference league more exciting than this. Maybe this competition will work in years to come, but if honest Chelsea shouldn't have really been playing in this tournament considering they haven't won the champions league for four years. Qualification needs to reflect better, if it means connecting the most recent champions league format. Like for example top 8 league phase of 2024-25 should have gone.

Credit to Enzo and Dewsbury-Hall they struck gold with their moves to London.

Enzo just gets it done. Still find it weird how many Leicester fans seem to dislike him. Can only imagine they're bald and in their mid forties and are jealous he makes it look so sexy.

All part of the act !

He’ll probably claim it as a win for America with Chelsea owned by Americans.

Do you really believe this was a serious tournament? Where are the teams that finished above Chelsea and Man City?

Napoli, Leverkuzen, Barca, Liverpool, Arsenal, Frankfurt, Atalanta all finished above some of teams participating in this farce.

They didn’t win the Champions league  between 21-24 or ranked high enough to qualify

Was only two teams per country too but maybe that will all change to allow whoever in .

Man look at all that car parking around the stadium, ooh to be able to park at the door, watch a game and be back on the road freely heading home within 10 minutes of leaving the ground.

lol you think that’s what happens at sporting events in the US

Chelsea bag $142.3m in prize money from that show.

Guess they won't have to sell the the womens team again this year.

Finding the “we’ve never seen a team do this to PSG” recency bias a bit odd lol

They’ve had a phenomenal run but at the end of the day they nearly didn’t make it through the league phase in the champions league and needed penalties to get past Liverpool in the last 16.

Ive loved watching them but think it’s quite obvious they still have defensive issues.

No idea 🤷‍♂️was more an observation about the amount of real estate afforded to US stadiums and perception of ease of attending a game, without trying to navigate around a concrete jungle of apartment blocks, houses & side streets.

Assume it’s a mare still then getting in/out?

I've said in other threads, I would've loved to to have seen what Enzo would've done with us last season if he stayed.

People say the style wouldn't have worked, but he did tweak the style when we played premier league teams.

But fair play to Enzo and happy for KDH to get some more silverware.

Because like everything FIFA and UEFA do it's all about the money which allows them to stay in control it's never about what's good for football, for the fans and for any players not at one of the moneybag elite clubs.

People laugh at the USA sports as money related but they are looking more competitive and fan oriented than any FIFA, UEFA and PL run events

The major tournaments get more corrupt and have an ongoing negative affect on traditional national tournaments with each passing year.

I wonder what would have happened if Enzo hadn’t been seduced by Chelsea.   Most of us felt that his style in the prem with us would have been a disaster.  Last night has made me think more deeply on this. would he have found some creative tactical routes to results?  he’s certainly been less one dimensional at Chelsea.

Think that was evident in some of the cup games we had under him. We would have tweaked things. I look how we changed it against Southampton too.

Enzo reckons the Club World Cup will become just as, or even more important, than the Champions League. No doubt, Notts Forest will claim to have won that as well.
