To be fair, the article hardly gives any detail about what happened.  I suspect there's a lot that complicates the case that hasn't been reported here.

Maybe but regardless of age, taking the life of another human being is about as bad as it gets and if convicted of that in whatever form it’s got to be worth more than a couple of years.  His actions have devastated someone’s family. 
 

I’m no way a member of the Tory hang them and flog them brigade it just seems if you’re under 18 it just feels like the sentencing guidelines are a joke.

Nominations for the prize closed in January 2025, the same month Trump came into office. Surely the people forced to put out these soundbites for Trump must understand how ridiculous he is.

He was still nominated - I mean it’s clearly ridiculous to present evidence that occurred after the nomination was submitted. 
clear that he should have been pushing for next year and they’ve screwed up big time by pushing for him to get it this year.  They’ve upset the committee and a lot could happen between now and next autumn to cause him to not get it.

If the committee has any sense (and I'm sure that they do), I'm sure they'll realise just how ridiculous the idea of presenting that man with the NPP this year, next year or any year is anyway, regardless of events.

He'll win it next year and then go on to retain it, something that loser Obama has never done.

 

His CV for nomination is exemplary and I can't fathom the omission. 

 

  1. Rightly tried to stop Crooked Joe getting in on January 6th
  2. Called Haiti and Africa "a shithole"
  3. Delivered freedom bombs to Iran and got rid of Soleimani on his drive to the shops
  4. Supported the Saudis with weapons to liberate the Yemenese at the cost of a mere 220k people
  5. Withdrew from the woke Paris Climate Agreement and WHO
  6. DIsabled some dodgy Spanish communist boats in the Carribean (some collatoral)
  7. Renamed DoD to Department of War to make it sounds more fluffly.
  8. Stopped seven wars FFS!  Yes India claim the US did nothing to broker the deal and Pakistan's nomination for the prize happened at around the same time as the US bought a port in the county but that's fake news stuff.  Rwanda and DRC are now friends again thanks to Trump, yes the Rwanda military haven't done a thing to keep the ceasefire going and M23 are keeping up with their rape and pillage tactics, but still, peace. Armenia and Azerbaijan are also still buddies as a result of this deal.  He might have thought this involved Albania, but they do sound alike and the peace deal where Azerbaijan completely annexes Nagorno and can continue their ethnic cleaning of the native Armenians is a great success.  Egypt and Ethiopia war STOPPED!!!! Yes they were never at war to begin with, but he made the peace an even better one.

I'll be writing my nomination for him.
