Oh great, another thread to discuss the same thing discussed in 18464628 other threads 🙃

Do we need another poll thread should be started!

in the same way Brexit should never had been a straight Yes or No this question is far to complicated and too many unknown factors for a simple poll.
How can anyone answer this if they don’t know the buyers or the full situation of the sellers yet.
What if I said yes and we got sold to some dodgy Russian geezers.

That's not the question though. The question is should they sell. Not should they sell to whoever, for what ever price, under whatever circumstances. Nor is if you answer yes, you're saying you're happy for with any of the above.

This is effectively should we have a vote on Brexit. The actually vote of in or out then meant we had some evidence and people canvassing for either side, which in the case of KP selling, would be the equivalent of us then saying yes or no when we have been made aware of the identity/intentions of the buyer etc.

I do think they should sell but it really depends on the buyer. I think Leicester is a club Saudi investors would be interested in due to the success of the club in recent history. However I think it's high unlikely top sells due to his dad's involvement in the club.

The question is should the club be sold, not should the club be put up for sale. The question implies the buyer could be anyone.

I've been plenty critical of the ownership, if you look back through my posts you can see that. I will continue to call for change in day to day management and in the board room but don't think selling is the right thing at the moment

The owner has run his company into the ground and created an unimaginable mess at the football club, all while he has better things to do.

Keep waiting and it may be too late to save either.

He’s shown time and time again that he is not interested in what matters when it comes to managing the club, only that he has people in executive positions who cater to his whims

That geezer who’s had to sell his stake in Crystal Palace, would he fancy us?

The same guy who has just got Lyon relegated to Ligue 2 for financial reasons?

This is despite all the dodgy dealings single handedly keeping Forest under PSR limited.

Texor has either caused Lyon to be in financial meltdown as a result of being more interested in dodgy PSR deals with Forest or continued doing this despite the club being in trouble.

First started to really turn on Aiyawatt, or really have concerns about him when he failed to sack Rodgers at the start of 2022/23. These were big red flags. Everything that's happened since has gone about as disastrously as anybody could've imagined it.

There'll be a lot of be careful what you wish for posts but if somebody had five years ago as we'd come back into the season during lockdown with about an 80% chance of qualifying for the Champions League told me that in five years time we'd have come off the back of our second relegation in three years from the Premier League, a very likely points deduction based on reckless financial mismanagement, those in place of this seemingly impossible decline to still have kept their jobs, even I, somebody capable of being a doom-merchant, would've called you mad.

Aiyawatt had credit in the bank, arguably luckily as it was inherited credit, and long used it all up for me. The common thing you read is that if he just got rid of Rudkin & Whelan he'd be OK. But I've no idea how much more evidence we need that he simply isn't going to.

We have undertaken under him the most rapid, most implausible decline I can remember. From probably the 7th most powerful club in the country to one that are now tipped as less likely to play in the Premier League in 2026 than Coventry City or Middlesbrough. And it's entirely self-inflicted.

I've had enough. I've seen enough. King Power themselves look increasingly a busted flush and the behaviours you see at LCFC themselves explain why. They're at the point of no return for me. A hundred times out.

I put this point to a particular poster known for defending KP/Aiyawatt constantly and just had a reply that Leicester being relegated is always to be expected! So some people will just do mental gymnastics to defend him no matter what happens!

Careful what you wish for......or some other equally braindead nonsense.

The only difference between that and what we have already is that the dodgy geezers are Thai, not Russian.

The thing is I’m totally onboard with king power ****ing off but I just know we’ll end up with some nutter. I can’t think of a club that went from one ownership to the other and they were both successful

We've already gone from successful ownership to unsuccessful ownership though?

Can't wait for the geniuses from the other thread to start replying to everyone to state that King Power in fact "don't own the club"
