Clause has expired as far as I’m aware. I think we would know about it if it had been triggered.

As I’ve said, why would anyone trigger his clause when it has days until it expires? As a potential buyer you’ll chance your arm at a low ball offer wouldn’t you? We know that we won’t accept any less than his clause, but to other clubs at the moment we appear desperate, so they may be thinking that we’re scratching around the back of sofa’s for cash, and put in a low offer to get him cheaper than we value him.

No one was paying £25-30m for him, he’s not got the stats to justify that tag.

i think someone will try and lowball us with an offer, but it will get rejected i think, the club will be looking for near £40mil now i suspect

and thats purely going on Hutchinson going to Forest for £37.5mil and his stats were on a par with BEK

Hope the Palace replacement that talks have started with isn’t Bilal.

Could be Harvey Elliot

Bilal is not going to replace his G/A output but can certainly see him coming in and giving creative license to another up and coming player.

I’m calling it now, if eze leaves to spurs one of Fatawa, or Bilal or even both end up at palace. One of them does for sure.

No one’s going to pay the fee we want for Fatawu until he fully proves he’s recovered from the ACL. He’s yet to play 90 minutes.

Anything over £30m is fair, especially if we get a sell on clause.

Of course the very real worry is they offer pittance and we roll over.

We have 3 games before the close of the window… that could well be evidence enough for potential Fatawu suitors.

I expect either we price them out of a move or we don't get as much as we'd like for him. I can't see him going for as much as we value him at.

Hopefully we make a profit on him. At the very least a profit on his remaining book value.

If we lose him we need someone. We can't hang our hats on Alves, Page or Onanaye, however promising they may be. If they break through, brilliant, and I really hope they do, but we'll need someone to keep the momentum going and be the main guy that those young players are trying to challenge.
