Marti needs to get on to him now and tell him how important he is to us gaining promotion and not to sulk. He could be a massive asset for us this season.

assuming nobody else comes in at £35m in which case we’d be daft not to sell anyway!

Get In!

Possibly the biggest thing that could happen for us in this window.

Now lets hope him & Fatawu can continue to develop a partnership as the season progresses.

6 days left yet lads not over yet! Would be massive to keep him and Fatawu. Just please add a striker and cm and lb and cb and winger 😂

I would rather us sell for £30m if he's going to be a twat about it.

I don't think he's that sort of player to go full Alexander Isak.

I think he'll try his hardest to get a club to sign him, and I don't think he'll play against Birmingham because his head won't be in the right place. But I think that after the international break he will come back and be a very good player for us.

To be fair to Bilal, he had a good attitude even when the rest of the team was falling apart last season and sh*t went extremely south. If he puts his head down he could be the best player in the Championship this year. There will be a big money move on the horizon even if it's not this summer

This will be a test of his character if he reacts bad , its best we sell him anyway

It's not in his interests to down tools if he wants to move to a bigger club.

I had a feeling those bonus sales of Justin, Ndidi and McAteer would make the difference. Unless he downs tools completely, and I struggle to see how that benefits him at such a late stage in the window and him not being able to move until January at the very earliest, we have a player who's realistically far too good for the level for at least half of the season.

For all the frustration at the lack of incomings, it's difficult to deny that the club has played a blinder with outgoings. In terms of players who we'd consider critical, we've only lost Hermansen and I don't think many of us would have been that gutted about that given Stolarczyk's efforts. I'd argue Ndidi is the bigger loss given the atrocious CDM options we're left and I'd consider that position to be as much of a priority as fullbacks and a striker.

I'm actually not convinced we need a winger. Fatawu, Mavididi and Monga are mustard and among the best in their position in the division. CB is more of an issue, but might not be if either Faes stays and shows the form he did last time in this division or if Nelson can put in the shifts he did last season at Oxford.

Striker, left-back and combative defensive midfielders are a must, though.

I wouldn't go that far. Have we sold a single player that genuinely doesn't want to be here?

Soumare, Winks and Faes have all made it abundantly clear they can't be arsed being here with their attitudes yet none of them have been moved on.

I’d agree with you there. It’s all about the alternatives.

We’re desperate for more quality in midfield. We needed a better striker before the window opened so no change there.

We need 4 or 5 new signings ideally, but a minimum of 2 in the positions stated would do so much to improve the options for the starting eleven

I haven't seen anything from him to suggest he'll go full on 'Winks' with us so I'd be made up to have him here. Has that X Factor that none of the rest of the midfield mob have.
