Personally I'd risk Vestegaard, Okoli and Nelson to get us through until Souttar is back.

I think you're right that this is how we could cope if Faes left. I also don't believe we need a LB if VK goes as we could look to Aluko to gradually bring through and/ or call on in an emergency.

I'm still not ruling out Leeds and Sunderland coming in for him. My worry is we then agree to taking Bamford and Greenwood.

were surely not that stupid...... but then again :giggle:

Personally think Spurs will sign him.

Great podcast again, sir:scarf:

Someone was paying £30m a season to have their name on our shirts???????

I seriously thought we were getting about £5m at best

how would you even know that figure?

Massive test of Marti's man management skills. Lad's a potential cheat code at this level but it's fairly obvious he was phoning it in for the first two games to stay fit for a move.

Get him on board and we may well become fun to watch. I think what I've seen of BEK would say he's mature enough not to throw his toys out the pram, fingers crossed. :fc:

Personally disagree. Opted out of playing on Saturday

Doesn’t strike me as a “throw the toys out the pram” kind of player.

100% for the first two games? No, but it’s hard to be when there is so much speculation. If he’s still here after September 1st then we have a wonderful attacking midfielder who I’m confident will look to really impose himself on the league and prove he’s too good for it.

If he stays and becomes the standout player in the Championship, which is likely, he'll end up at a far better club than Palace next season.

Literally the best thing for KDH’s career was his season in the championship. Now look at him.

I can't remember how you embed a specific timeline so go to 9:35

Interestingly in relation to Leipzig being interested, it's rumoured they are after Elliot from Liverpool.  So that may be another suitor down.

Out of all the players who are are so,what sellable and don’t want to be where, are Bilal and Winks. I’d actually aregue they are two very important cogs in how we need to play. Without them, all our play has to come down the wings. Opponents have been doubling and triple teaming our wingers and they’ve been able to do that because there’s NOTHING coming through the middle. If we can reintegrate both back into the team and convince them to at least give us till the end on the season, we’ll be in great shape and could save us a lot of money..

Thomas won't haemorrhage goals from that left side in this division like he does in the PL. We've got bigger issues.

Well the price is £35mill and as we've apparently sorted ourselves on PSR that would be a nice wad to spend.  Good news for us either way I think.

No clue whether the actual source is reliable or not

I would be surprised if West Ham coughed up £35m for him, but if Paqueta goes to Newcastle who knows…?

KDH backed himself from the get go. Didn't he publicly say he wanted to be the best player in the division?

So Palace were sniffing around when the price was £25m but now it's £35m, suddenly West Ham are all over it?

Right.

The only thing I know for sure is that nobody has got a clue what's going on.  Everything will become clear by this time next week.  A bit of patience is needed.

This is real if Rudkin is now with West Ham

No chance in hell West Ham cough up £35m for him. Not with it looking like they’re going to fail again this season.

They have money and will panic buy. I'm just not convinced they have a problem that BEK can solve. Their defence and defensive mid situation is simply horrible.

Let’s face it there are going to be a few desperate premier league clubs throwing money around as the relegation slots are not a foregone conclusion. Be pleasantly surprised if he is still here when the window closes.
