Both Abdul and Mavadidi play much better when we move the ball forward quickly.

It must be soul destroying being a winger in this team watching the ball being passed

around the defence then into midfield then back to the defence while the opposition

get back into shape.

I don't agree.

There's obviously a big difference between a kid like Abdul compared to a Faes or Vestergaard that's come from a country next door with very little cultural variation, that's significantly older with way less culture shock coming here.

About the lad who moved here from Portugal?

What other excuses have you got for our players?

I've not seen any evidence a slow, methodical build up has ever been better. The Cruyff philosophy is killing me.

How are you going to stop players using social media? They aren't at school. Most people act like bellends on Social media - i just try and not actively seek out things that bother me.

I think the fact Abdul now has post match arguments with fans..... rather than entertaining us doing a silly little dance next to the noddy toy in West Bridgford ASDA, is the perfect summary of our recent demise....

Did he get low attendance at his documentary? Upset maybe lol

I do love him but I think the love in from the fans has probably died out with the manager playing tactics meaning he is tripled up and the general malaise due to how utterly shite and boring we are. He's another player that will be sold for under his perceived value and go on and do well and no doubt excite more fans, away from the happy clapper KPFC simps. And who will our esteemed owner and Rudkin sanction to come in as his replacement with jack shite they're willing to now spend due to their own incompetence.

Even the happiest most enthusiastic of player's probably wants out, Marti will sort this out and turn things around I am sure

I know he hasn’t been showing the skill recently and he hasn’t been taking his men on and skinning them and scoring wonder goals.. but he’s still been getting some assists.

actually what I think should be compulsory. Is a once a week meeting with a psychologist.  There’s so much that is high pressure for a footballer these days, the expectations of the clubs seems to be on the up, the crowd and the obscene money they can earn.  It’s easy to see how a young player can spiral out of control or at best, find the experience difficult to manage..

If I was earning that sort of money I don't think I would need a psychologist. Within the club there should be a clear culture of what the players should and should not be getting themselves involved in. The whole philosophy should filter down from the chairman, through the senior staff, the senior players, young players and apprentices right down to the tea lady. It's got to be a whole club philiosophy and you're in trouble if you step out of line. This is what made Alex Ferguson such a successful manager and why he could handle all the primadonnas so well.

Currently at City there seems to be no corporate direction and everybody is doing their own thing. Top's mind seems to be elsewhere as is his sidekick/lapdog and Cifuentes comes across as too gentle. It's no use sayin we know where the mistakes are bein made and we'll sort them for next time but nothing gets any better next time. And I think we need to look closely at the coaching staff judging by the performances of some. They also shopuld share some of the blame, including Mr King!!!!

The club had a psychologist, they got rid of it during the 2nd Ranieri year I believe.

Culture is a strange thing, as it takes years to build in a standard business, then it’s easy to break.

In football, I think it’s just about characters that are deemed as leaders and standards that are set.

We reflect and look at the “Leaders” we’ve had and lost in the past 5 years and it’s crazy really.

Vardy, Albrighton, Morgan, Simpson, Fuchs, Cambiasso, Schmeichel, even Coady etc

This team doesn’t have those characters that will call out players who drop that 1%.

The bigger concern as well is for the younger players coming through that are so impressionable. They need a real leader to guide them, not some cosplay captain who has some ability but no heart and grit to get in the trenches.

Fatawu needs someone to put their arm around him develop him as a person, not only as a player. Who is doing that at this joke of a club currently?

And because of this we are seeing his ability regress.  He hit a brick wall and turned backwards because of the poor coaching and lack of leadership.  No one to push, listen, develop and tell him then how to fix individual errors and collectively improve. He would learn more in an afternoon with Albrighton  than he has all season with Marti and his team.

Mav is just greedy and not a team player, he plays more like Ayew.  They don’t look like team mate with a collective goal and system.

Ricky might be a great guy and a role model from a professional point, he isn’t a leader, which we need more than a cool guy.

There is no reason why Winks, Ricky, JJ and Fatawu couldn’t have a locked in tactic that would cut through most teams. We look like a team that has never trained with each other.

Something is definitely off with Fatawu atm.

Just re-watched the highlights and he does not acknowledge any of our goals. Hopefully he’s just down about his performances and how we’re playing. The cynic in me thinks there is more to this drop off in form and questionable behaviour

What do you mean doesn't acknowledge the goals?

He celebrated the second goal but not the first or the third.

Looks tired and jaded at the moment to me. Great to watch on form, but has played a lot of minutes for someone coming back from so long out. Trouble is we are so reliant on him, I can’t see him getting much of a rest any time soon

Have to agree. His decision-making and body language seem off, and the social media stuff hasn’t helped. He needs to rest for a couple of games and then come back in refocused... Though I can't see it happening.

True.  Even when having a shitter he does something to affect the game.

A lot of people have spoken about the issue being that he's denied space in every game. I've not been convinced by this at all, and yesterday I thought that Derby's Brereton Diaz failed singularly to support Callum Elder at LB, Ebou Adams wasn't screening effectively either, and Fatawu was able to pick up the ball in all sorts of decent positions and run at his opponent with plenty of space, and options. He was mostly sloppy and wasteful, albeit with a glimpse or two of what he's capable of doing.

There's a real talent in there, but he's got a lot of work to do to go near to fulfilling it. Most flair players don't reach the levels they could. He's a player who needs to match his talent, which is considerable but by no stretch extraordinary, with his work-rate. And be a lot less prissy about it along the way.

People need to calm the **** down. If he was as good as FT had him believe he'd be playing for 1 of 2 teams in Spain.

Guess what he's not and will have good days bad days and drift in and out of matches and patches of form what we should tale from yesterday is we won and Abdul and Stephy were average. Imagine  when we finally find a way to  get the best out of them

Thought Abdul was below average and Mavididi was fairly okay. Fatawu needs time out of the team, or at least the starting line up.

Stpehy had a couple of moments. But overall. Despite the score both wide players offered not a lot over the whole game for me.
