I’m quite happy with that appointment.

im also pleased its sell to buy too. Means we are now forced to drain the swamp.

time to clear out Faes, VK, Coady, Vestergasrd, Soumare, Daka, BDCR, Ndidi, Ayew, Skipp… it could go on!

How big a squad are you expecting us to have ?

we could easily lose seven players without needing to bring anyone in

coady, Faes, ndidi, soumare, BDCR, ayew, mads

and there’s more

Nelson, souttar, hamza coming back

youngsters coming through

only need to buy a CF imo (although physicality holding midfield a concern - assume hamza will fill in there).

Oh jeez I forgot about Souttar. Another one who really needs to go.

Surely we pay enough money to lawyers to get this done tomorrow and not wait till the weekend.

Half of them won't leave they are on too good a wage and will try sit out their contract long as possible

I hope he's decent. I don't pretend to know much about him if I'm honest.

Me neither.

All I know is when QPR beat us at home a few seasons ago I was really impressed with them and they fully deserved their win that day.

Great that it's sorted, but sell to buy is shite.

Faes, Soumare, Ndidi all should be out the door

They can only go out the door if someone wants them.

That’s the ridiculousness in these threads

People trying to work out a manager’s (who we’ve not even signed yet) budget, based on

1. The perceived value of the dross player we want rid of

2. Guessing how much money (wage wise) that’ll free up

On the assumption

1. Some daft club will come in for said dross player at the completely guessed asking price

2. New club will happily meet dross players over priced wage demands

Nuts

And to be fair even though we stuck 6 past them in the cup the result did not reflect their performance they were great in the first half.

Can see the headlines now on the official site "We got our man, welcome Marti" as Rudkin comes out with a statement "He was and always has been our no. 1 target"

I know he’s a millionaire and all that jazz but the fact he’s forgoing hundreds of thousands of pounds to get back into work and to come here in this day and age is incredibly refreshing!
Could’ve easily ‘Pottered’ us and made the saga drag on either longer!

Hopefully this can be a fantastic match of someone who can unite the fanbase with exciting, pragmatic football whilst also bringing through these fantastic prospects from our youth academy

I’m sure the youth lads wouldn’t have been too disappointed to hear his name been mooted about and with a reported sell to buy requirement it gives us even more reason to play them!

100%

We have to try though. Now it’s a definite there isn’t any money to spend. MC should be doing everything he can to the players he doesn’t want to force them out. Train with the kids etc

Hey, welcome to Leicester City FC. We don’t do things like that round here.

You have to give anyone a chance who comes in but this is baffling. There’s loads out there with way more experience at every level who are out of work and we pick this one 🤯🤯

If we spoke in absolutes and based solely on 100% fact this forum would be barren and empty

their wages are considerably reduced this season

if they can find a gig in the PL then they’ll leave for sure - the question is whether the club are prepared/psr able to accept lowball fees
