Popular Post Swarles Barkley Posted 14 July 2025 Popular Post Posted 14 July 2025 (edited) Hopefully we can get this over the line today and get back to concentrating on not signing anyone Edited 14 July 2025 by Swarles Barkley 16
Popular Post Sol thewall Bamba Posted 14 July 2025 Popular Post Posted 14 July 2025 Kingy being wheeled out for another interview and being asked to say "we're preparing the squad to hand over to the new manager when he arrives" for the 5th time: 9
lanefox Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 Don't we go to Austria today? Surely would make sense to have the manager in place but this Leicester City , we don't do things that make sense

Apparently De Marco’s involved now. Whole things a ,mess. I heard it was something to do with his excessive use of the club hoe. Messy business! 1
TheGoldenGod Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 It's crazy he's not been appointed yet! How haven't they figured out the backroom staff for him....he needs to be implementing his ideas weeks ago!
Popular Post daddylonglegs Posted 14 July 2025 Popular Post Posted 14 July 2025 (edited) Just still feeling so grateful that the club identified their preferred candidate last week. Just 82 days since being confirmed as relegated and perhaps more impressively, just 13 days after firing the previous manager. The new manager will also undoubtedly be grateful that he was clearly about 7th choice for the role and has been given all of 3 weeks to work with the players prior to the start of the season. This is an elite level establishment with extremely serious people running it. We are so lucky. Edited 14 July 2025 by daddylonglegs 15 1 1
brookfox Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 Well our usual pace of execution bodes well for the transfer window 😫

BeaumontFox Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 It needs to be today. If it doesn’t happen today, then there is some issues happening behind the scenes as usual.
Foxdiamond Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 I know the wait is not ideal but Cpl Jones would have been right at home here

I'm FAIRLY (!) confident we'll announce Cifuentes & Calm today or tomorrow, in time for them to jet off with the squad. Edited 14 July 2025 by Outfox the Fox 1
Ian Nacho Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 Nothing new with us. Doing everything at a snails pace. 1
daddylonglegs Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 Not to labour the point, but if last week (2 and a half months after being relegated) they "hoped to identify a preferred candidate", God only knows what the ambitions are for this week. The sky is the limit and we should all prepare ourselves for a huge week. Perhaps a kit released? Perhaps some pictures of Choudhury & Vestegaard "hard at work"? Perhaps they'll even present a contract to said preferred candidate? The club is building excitement for the season and boy oh boy are me and the rest of Coach 1 absolutely buzzing.

mozartfox Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 You really do wonder what the hold up is??? Surely today?? 1
Aleksz Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 (edited) Would imagine the hold up is his staff - Can imagine getting Xavi Calm out of QPR is hard work considering how it ended for Cifuentes there. On the flip side it would seem he only took Calm with him to QPR so hard to say how many he wants to bring in with him... we know we need a goalkeeper coach at a minimum. Also worth noting we'll be having to sort work permits for any foreign staff also, could be a factor. Edited 14 July 2025 by Aleksz
GrobyLCFC31 Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 They’ve not tweeted for 17 hours, that’s normally a sign. I reckon it’s been done for 24-48 hours but for some reason we seem to take ages announcing these things I remember Souttar getting announced at 10pm on deadline day and his photos were taken in the daylight, Im guessing the hold up is Xavi Calm being announced alongside Marti 1
mozartfox Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 Spotted at Graz Airport. Awaiting Marti's arrival to bless him. 3
LestaLad Posted 14 July 2025 Posted 14 July 2025 Dreading this Percy bomb that we’re going for Wilder cause we couldn’t agree terms with Marti’s backroom staff. 1
