Surely he’s got a visa already he’s been working here already . I would think it’s more a case of changing his employers info .

The Media melts need to fill column inches, it sounds more interesting to the average reader / viewer than 'Now only Rudkin being slower than a snail with salt on its tits outstanding '.

Actually i take that back, that's a far more interesting mental image, if not exactly a pleasant one

Not sure you can blame Rudkin for the Visa department being closed  at weekends …

Why shouldn’t the chairman play polo ?

I don’t get the upset

On the surface that’s a fair comment but when our club is slipping into the mire and there is serious work to be done… it’s a bit frustrating to see him focusing on his hobby. The only 2 trips to England this summer have been around his polo and meanwhile our club is falling further behind.

both his main businesses are in in defcon 4 and he doesn’t seem too bothered about sorting that out in a hurry.  Maybe it doesn’t matter, we’ve got the manager decided, the shirts and sponsor has been agreed but that to me is the bare minimum we needed resolved

Sounds like there's a chance that this might actually happen.

In all seriousness, I wouldn't be surprised if the club haven't dragged this out on purpose.  This transfer window is going to be a very quiet one, certainly on the incoming front.  We've had more than two weeks of fans getting worked up about the manager situation, we haven't really started moaning about the transfer situation.

By the time MC is announced and off to Austria, there'll only be 3 weeks until the actual football starts.

Glad we’re not rushing things…….
Only 80+ days since we were relegated.
Only over 2 weeks since Ruud went.
Cifuentes officially left QPR on the 24th June.

Absolutely shocking.

You just need to be more patient apparently!

Given the state of this club, I hope (transfer embargo notwithstanding) Cifuentes has targets in mind already and can identify them months in advance, because it's painfully obvious that it's like getting blood from a stone getting our board to even identify targets, let alone pursue them.

Do QPR take One For All vouchers?

not sure, but I know he’s asked about using his Oyster…

If his visa isn’t ready could we not just go to the camp and he coincidentally decides to have his last few days as a free man on holiday at the same location

he’s not involved on an hour to hour basis. He pays people a lot of money to run the club. He doesn't need to be here to make the important decisions.  He can do that from Thailand. If he comes over to play polo then I just don’t see what the issue is.  he can tie in with visits up here and face to face chats with a potential new head coach.

we both agree that those charged with running the club aren’t doing a good job.  But it doesn’t look like he’ll be changing anything because whelan is a KP stalwart and Rudkin is trusted.  We all think that vichai wouldn’t have maintained this status quo - but top doesn’t have whatever it takes to do what’s necessary.

And count that it working days

Plus the days for onboarding, understanding the setup, players etc

It's basically being parachuted in last minute. We'll be lucky to get anyone in or or out
