Favourite ever home shirt

Since we are awaiting the arrival of the new one, what’s your favourite ever home shirt? 
 

1992-1994 is a belter

Don't know about ever but 19/20 is the best in recent memory.

The 1980’s shirt with the thin white stripes. My dad gave me his original version (without Ind. Coope on the front) and it’s my absolute favourite shirt. On a side night, it’s also my favourite club badge.

Still got mine. I've played 5-a-side in it occasionally for 15+ years and it still looks brand new- oddly, it's probably one of the best-made and durable kits we've ever had.

I picked up the horrible dishwasher gold shirt from '04 for around a tenner at the end of the season as a bit of a joke. Wore it for 5 a side for years and beach. Not quite in prime condition any more with sponsors peeled off, but still wear it and gave it a run out at football a couple of weeks ago. Its funny how bad shirt can become the most worn one.

 

Anyway, back to the thread, no debate. This was the first ever shirt I bought, (football shirts had a bad reputation in the 80s with hooliganism) so i bought it just as I started making my way in the world awat from Leicester: Summer in California and then at university, this was part of my identity, and coincided with a rebirth of the club as relevant again:

Just got one of these. It’s a beauty, from the year I was born. Also the Ind Coope pinstripes ofc.

 

Always liked this one tbf despite us being wank at the time.

Early/mid 70s. Weller, Wortho, Whitworth etc. 

No sponsor, great badge & collar. Even the season when we had a white home shirt, that was nice too. Love a bit of retro.

The 18/19 and 19/20 ones are my favourites from recent years. Adidas have given us some proper shite but the first two home kits were very nice, the latter particularly with the white shorts.

My favourite ever shirt was our black away shirt from the title winning season. I stupidly sold mine for about £90. Worth way more now 🤦🏻‍♂️

The 1983/85 pinstripe Ind Coope edition.My first and for it’s time a pretty radical shift as clubs started to try and tap into sponsorship etc.

For me, it’s this kit, it’s the GOAT.

Reminds me of Filbert Street, grown men shouting, Bovril, cigar smoke, Steve Lynex swimming, Bob Hazel, Smith and Lineker.

Would love a return of Blue Shirt, White Shorts, White stockings

Yes! This one! I may have to retire it soon as I’m getting nervous about washing it but god I love it
